Stayed with Samay Wasi for 4 nights before our excursion. We had another hostel booked for our return days but we cancelled and arranged for us to stay with Samay Wasi upon return. They were so helpful and welcoming, I couldn't imagine staying elsewhere! They fed us, laundered our clothes at all hours, and made sure our room was immaculate!...

We stayed eight nights in this hostel and always felt very welcome. Although the rooms are a bit cold (you won't find a place in Cusco where they aren't) you will find everything you need (hot showers, comfortable beds, free coca tea). For breakfast you get bread and marmelade. If you stay in the superior room you even get eggs...

We really enjoyed our stay at Samay Wasi hostel. We have to climb stairs to get there, but believe us, it really worth it !!! The hosts were really welcoming, always ready to help us. They came to get us at the bus station when we arrived. They also helped us everytime we had questions about Cusco. They offer a...

This hostal will guide from Pervian woman. It is very clean and nothing is missing. There is a delicious breakfast. Also you can sit in the afternoon on the balcony and you have a nice view about Cuzco.

We selected this place by the positive reviews.. but our experience was not that positive. The first room that we were giving (the first double, first floor right after the entrance door) was a damp. Sorry but there is no other name of it, it smelled terribly! their toilet system in need of fixing. We had asked for a nice...

The best thing about this hostel is the view of Cuzco from the terrace. I enjoyed drinking the (free) coca tea on the terrace, basking in the sun to a great view. I also found the hostel to be a good place to meet other travellers. The location is great, although it may be difficult to climb up the stairs...

The balcony offers wonderful views over Cusco, which you can enjoy while you eat breakfast or just have a drink in the afternoon. Rooms are nice and spacious, clean, and pretty well appointed. The kitchen is a little on the small side, and has a tendency to get a little grubby, but has everything you need to produce a decent...

We stayed at Samay Wasi at the end of May this year and we loved it. The service was so good, the ladies at the reception really helpful and will do their best to make your stay better. The view of Cusco on the second floor while having a Matte de Coca is incredible! If you want to see the...

Staff is really friendly. Arrived at Cusco in the early morning (6 AM) and the reception was there to open the door. The room was not ready yet, but we could have breakfast and they would have the room ready at 8 am. I did the machu picchu 2 day tour and they were happy to store my bag. I...
