Beautiful experience through this hotel and Mrs Doris from Kushka Travel Expedition to enjoy all what Peru had to offer.
The hotel employees were very caring and the travel Agency took our well being in mind when arranging the tour to get used to the altitude. I recommend highly this travel agency since they were caring, proffesional and on time delivering as well the Hotel Imperial Cuzco for people who wants to have a clean place to just sleep.
Thank you.
My trip was pre- Covid

Stayed at this hotel for two spells of two nights during a tour of Peru. The hotel is situated slightly out of the centre of Cusco but it is only 15 minutes walk to the Plaza de Armas (central square). The rooms were spacious and clean with plenty of space for storage. Our room had a bath and shower with constant hot water. The only complaint about the rooms were that the walls are quite thin and you can hear conversations in the next room, however the hotel was quiet enough at night to get a good nights sleep.

The lobby area of the hotel is very pleasant with an open fire when it gets a bit cold and a constant supply of free coca tea to help with acclimatisation. There is also free Internet access in the lobby. All of the staff we friendly and the hotel stored our luggage for us while we were away for a couple of nights visiting the Sacred Valley and the bags were back in our room on our return.

Breakfast was average with a variety of fruit, bread and cheese, however the choice tended to run a bit low if you were late and took a while to be replenished. The hotel has a reasonably priced restaurant however we ate out so are unable to comment on the quality.

I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Cusco as a good quality mid-range hotel.

We moved to this hotel from the Pardo Hotel on Avenida Regionale, which was a dump. The Imperial is very clean, had comfortable beds and serves a good breakfast. It is a quiet hotel, just a little way off the main thoroughfare, Avenida del Sol, and a short walk to the Temple of the Sun.

We were here with over 60 people in our school group. They accommodated our late departure and feeding all of us at once. Food was great and everyone was so nice helping us come and go and helping with our sick kiddos.

The hotel is very nice and clean and within walking distance to the Plaza de Armas and Koricancha. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. It was also quiet which made resting at night very pleasant.

We stayed for 2 nights with a group of 30 students. Rooms were clean, the staff were very friendly, and diligent at all times. Breakfast was ok. They have good hot water unlike other hotels on the area. I only had one problem with the bathroom but they fixed it promptly. Beds were comfortable, finally good pillows not the inka pillows (hard as rock). Size of the rooms are great. I had a single room with a king size bed. My students were very happy with their rooms as well. Very family friendly. WiFi was not the best, but it worked fine. Location is awesome. Walking distance to El Sol Avenue and the main square. I would definitely recommend the stay but try to have dinner somewhere else.

I was there with my family this month. The hotel is nice and cozy. It’s not in the heart of downtown, but we were able to walk to all the important sites to visit. The hotel is very clean and the beds are cozy. They have breakfast ready very early in the morning, so you can start your day. My family loved to go out in tha patio and pet the alpacas they have there.
We were able to leave our big luggage with them, while we visited Machu Pichu.

I really liked the hotel as I felt very confortable there. I had a clean bedroom and bathroom every morning, clean towels, everything nice and clean which it is very important for me. Also, everything worked well in my room. You can get a nice breakfast until 10:00 am and different types of fresh home made juice as well as jam, ham, cheese, tasty bread from Cusco, cereal and etc.
The staff is very kind and helpful. My husband got sick and immediately the receptionist offered help and contacted a clinic specialised on travellers diseases. It is a safe place and the location is around 15 min walking from city center and, it is close to main avenue "Sol".

This is an old hotel. It was clean and comfortable, and the restaurant offers the same breakfast buffet of cheese, bread and fruit that we'd come to expect two weeks into our trip. Some of our group ate soup at restaurant one night and said it was good. We ate most meals on the Plaza since we were there in the evening. One couple found a nearby bakery and had rolls and hotel coffee for meals.

Between hotel and Plaza there are beaucoup stores and restaurants--it's a nice-sized town, with sidewalks and traffic lights--not all historic plaza and people sitting by carts with things to sell like the tourism photos like to show.

You can walk to Plaza in 15-20 minutes, depends on how many photos you stop to take.

The cons: We finally got a room with a safe, and had to call for help getting it open on two occasions. The toilet didn't want to cooperate. Each time we called, someone came up and temporarily fixed the problem. I guess that's cheaper than fixing well-worn amenities. Also, the wall-mounted heater did not work, but there was a space heater in the closet we used on a chilly evening.

The rooms are a nice size and very clean. However, the lighting in the room was dim or very bright - no in between. The hotel staff was nice and friendly. Nice big bathroom with a hairdryer!

The breakfast buffet was very good with several choices.
