This hotel was a jewel. It's tucked in a narrow street and you don't know how beautiful it is until you go through the door. The patio is the first thing you see and it's so pretty-lots of seating and firepits for cool nights. The restaurant is right off the rear and the bar as well, both of which are great. Our room was perfect for us. A comfortable king size bed, several bottles of water throughout the room, space for our clothes, and coffee/tea if we wanted it. The room was very clean and the waters were replaced several times each day and there is also a filtered water fountain in the lobby. Everyone was very friendly and personable. We had a spa treatment our last day (massage and then they hyperbaric chamber--so great!) and that was wonderful. The lobby has a neat little room off to the side that has waters, teas, and coffee for you. The restaurant was great too--we ate breakfast there each morning which included a delicious buffet with fruits, oatmeal, breads, salads, fresh juices, and coffee or you could order from the menu. They also served lunch and dinner, and everything we ate was yummy. The bar staff was so friendly and made drink recommendations for us. We loved sitting at the open window at the bar and watching the activity on the patio. The location was great--within walking distance of so many restaurants, shops, market places, churches, historic places. The entire vibe was wonderful and we would definitely stay there again.

My partner and I had the best experience at this hotel, the rooms were so clean and spacious. The attention to detail was amazing with the hot water bottles at night.

They sorted us early breakfasts for when we had early day tours and also before our Inca Trail hike. They stored our luggage (and also our friend’s luggage who was coming on the hike with us and not staying at the hotel) while we were away for no cost and no trouble.

The breakfast included is so good, they have a great selection of buffet items amazing fruit and juices and also a great menu to order eggs/breakfast burritos etc

We got a free upgrade on both occasions we booked. Initially we had booked another hotel for after our hike but we ended up cancelling the second night and re booking at Antigua when we also got upgraded to a suite free of charge. I would recommend booking this hotel directly through their website as you get a free yoga pass and free airport pick up.

The staff were so lovely and so helpful, gave us great recommendations for places to eat.

The location of this hotel is also perfect so close to the square and great food places.

I would absolutely recommend this hotel to friends and family and would stay here again if we ever found ourselves in Cusco!

We had a truly lovely stay in this beautiful hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming and incredibly helpful especially Grace. The rooms were spotless, comfortable and beautifully decorated with a touch of local charm. They even had a beautiful wine and a dessert waiting for us to mark our 20th wedding anniversary.

The location was perfect—close to the main square yet peaceful enough for a restful night’s sleep. Breakfast was delicious with fresh local ingredients and a great variety to choose from. I also appreciated the little details, like the complimentary coca tea and other tea's to help with the altitude. It is well located near the beautiful fireplace which is near the reception.
We also enjoyed our time at the Bar which has beautiful and romantic vibe setting. I believe it was a quiet time of the year so we were lucky to have the bar to ourselves when we were there. The bar attendant was so nice and made some amazing cocktails for us to enjoy. We even had our dinner there as well.
They offer laundry service as well which I found so helpful especially if you have been hiking for days . They charge per $4US per Kg and not by item which is great.

they have water filters so you can always fill up your bottles and they provide hot water bottle in your bed as a turn down service which is so helpful during those cold nights.

Overall, an excellent experience. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Cusco!

We loved staying at this hotel. The staff were brilliant, we left our luggage for a few days whilst we did the inka trail. When we returned it was already in our new room. Little touches like the hot water bottles and tea every evening in the room were really nice. They have a yoga studio there, we thought the classes were a bit pricey however they let us use the studio when there wasn’t a class on which was great. The breakfast selection was outstanding: they had a continental buffet along with a la carte options all included. They also offer breakfast boxes if you have an early start for excursions which were really useful. The location was perfect and walkable to anywhere we needed to go in town.

We enjoyed the three nights we had at Antigua Casona San Blas. Our first night had us arriving after visiting the rainforest, where it was extremely hot. We were able to use the hotel laundry service (very inexpensive) to get our clothes washed and ready for us after we returned from an overnight to Machu Picchu. Arriving back in Cusco, we enjoyed two more nights at the hotel. We loved the decor and the way the rooms were set up. The restaurant served a very nice breakfast and dinner. The hotel is located on a very quiet street within walking distance to restaurants and the main square. We would highly recommend staying here.

The hotel staff is outstanding. Very accommodating and personable. The bar and restaurant were excellent and the included breakfast was quite nice. Loved the outdoor lounge area with fire pits.

Unfortunately, our room was not as pictured or described on the hotel’s website. We booked a ‘traditional’ room and were assigned room 302. It was dark and dreary. The bathroom sink was located in the main bedroom and only the shower/toilet were in a separate area. The door to the balcony was actually a sealed double door (metal doors followed by wooden doors).

This was sufficient for 1 night and I really wanted to give 5 stars but felt disappointed when comparing the expected room (website pictures) vs reality (attached pictures).

From the moment we arrived we felt like we were at home. This hotel is outstanding. From the reception staff, whose fluency in English and genuine heartfelt desire to deliver anything you ask for. To the restaurant, housekeeping and spa staff, everyone genuinely wants to make your stay outstanding.
Highly recommend the 2 person spa treatment, which filled a wet afternoon in a most pleasurable way.
The little touches like coca and Muna tea being available at any time of day, to the bedtime tea and hot water bottle service. They go above and beyond.

Laundry service is charged by weight not by item and everything is done within the day. Just let them know what you want and it’s done.
Food is great and the bar well stocked with both wines and don’t forget those Pisco Sours.

Thank you to each and every one of the team. And if you’re visiting Cusco, this place is a must.

I just want start off by saying that I’ve never reviewed a hotel before but I felt like I had to write one because this one blew me away. This hotel is an Instagrammers paradise. It is so gorgeous and chic. Aside from the look, I think what makes this hotel stand out is the service, cleanliness, and overall attention to detail in their customer service. I have never seen a hotel staff work so hard to ensure our stay was comfortable.

The food at the restaurant was delicious and I enjoyed the included breakfast every morning which was the full restaurant breakfast menu.

The room was gorgeous and super super clean. The rooms included several nice, soft touches like two soft alpaca blankets and a cute wooden bench in the bathroom for a vanity station. Also, side note, the showers have amazing water pressure and the hot water is available immediately. Once you enter the room you can literally hear a little waterfall outside your room which is so relaxing. The free wifi was secure and high speed which made my life easier for catching up on emails, streaming movies, or posting to social media.

The location is perfect. It’s quietly tucked away in the artistic district of Cusco and felt extremely safe, which is something that really matters to me. In addition, you could also walk 3- 5 min and be in the plaza de armas (main square).

Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely be coming back next time I’m in Cusco. You just can’t beat the price, location, quality of service, and beauty of the hotel.

Antigua Casona San Blas honestly exceeded all my expectations!! From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted with warmth and a sense of personalized care that is so rare these days.
The hotel itself is a charming boutique property, with every corner thoughtfully designed. But what really sets this place apart is the attention to detail. From the plush bedding, little chocolates, and heating pads in the bed, it’s clear that the team here has put a lot of thought into every aspect of the guest experience.
The staff was not only friendly and accommodating, but they anticipated needs before I even had to ask. For example, they offered to provide a fan due to the warmer weather and consistently asked if we needed anything else. Kevin was always attentive to our belongings and had our suitcases waiting for us in our room. Victor at the front desk always greeted us with a smile and offered recommendations when we needed them.
The hotel restaurant, Piedra y Sal, offered one of the BEST breakfasts I’ve ever had (and it was included). We also had our NYE dinner there and the food was delightful!
I highly recommend Casona Antigua San Blas ¬¬for anyone looking for a more intimate and memorable hotel experience. It’s the little things that make all the difference, and this hotel does them all right!

This wonderful hotel has everything you need to spend the best days of your vacation. The infrastructure is attractive and comfortable, the food is exceptional, the location incredible, but if there is something that makes this hotel the best rated it is, without a doubt, its staff.
Each and every one of the hotel employees strive to make your stay unforgettable, any request, no matter how strange it may be, is fulfilled, they make sure that everything is as good as it can be.
Every night they leave you tea in your room and a hot water bottle in your bed; these types of details offer added value to your stay. It couldn't have been better.
Thank you all for making me feel at home away from home.

My wife required oxygen during our trip but I did not and I never once felt breathless in spite of being 58 and hiking a lot. I guess it is the luck of the draw. Whenever my wife needed oxygen this was made available to her and in fact administered to her in a timely manner.
