Although our room was large and clean, the staff attentive, though not much English was spoken, and the breakfast was very good, our two night stay at Pimampiro was disappointing because of its location. We stayed in mid-October when there were fewer tourists on San Cristobal making the hotel seem isolated and out of the way, five long blocks up... More

Stayed here in a large group while on a service trip to Ecuador. Service was phenomenal, food at breakfast was great (always ate out in town for lunches and dinners), pool was well maintained and the rooms were spacious and comfortable with very good bathrooms. Not a waterfront location, but close enough you can just take a quick walk down... More

Great hotel with amazing staff! Very attentive and caring. Breakfast was crazy good, served with one of the best hot chocolates I've ever had! Rooms are spacious and bathrooms are luxury for those used to the smaller cramped bathrooms found in most hostels. Location is good too, not too far from the beaches and local wildlife.

My family stayed at Pimampiro during our recent visit to the Galápagos. Right away we felt at home. It is located at the top of the hill overlooking the town, and has a great view of the ocean. It is all self contained with laundry, a restaurant, and a very refreshing pool that the kids put to good use. It... More

San Cristobal was our last stop on our island hopping tour and we enjoyed the stay a lot! Positive: - spacious and clean - lovely decoration - great service: there is always somebody to take your questions or wishes - breakfast is fresh, plenty and diverse - fresh water and cooler in the room - laundry service on site -... We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights with a school group. Alejandra was very accommodating and provided our group with a very nice stay. We were divided into two groups; one group was across the road in another building and the other half stayed in the main hotel building. Both sections of the hotel have pools, although the main... We stay here on January 9 and 10; impeccable local hotel, clean, spacious, excellent breakfast, nice staff. For the locals to benefit from tourist money, it is better to hop from Islandto Island than visiting by staying on yachts or cruise liners. In the later cases the money goes to wealthy individuals and corporations residing on the continent. Locals can... More

A little distant from Porto Baquerizo Moreno, but ot worth the view, the nice pool and a delicious breakfast. All new air conditioning, spatious and well equiped room, including even a safe. Very friendly staff. They can help you with everything.

A travel agent placed us here when the hotel I had chosen fell through - and, it was wonderful! If you stay in a brand-name hotel, you might be in any city, anywhere in the world. But a hotel like the Pimampiro is a delicious slice of local life. The hotel is charming, more like an enormous two-story house. Our... More

We stayed free as a couple, for 3 nights en route to a dive trip and were very well looked after. The room we had was first floor with a balcony, hammock and plenty of space inside. There were all the expected facilities including air con and a fridge. The breakfasts were good and filling and despite them speaking little... More
