This is a beautiful boutique hotel close to the historic area. The rooms make you feel as though you are staying in a Spanish home. The beds are comfortable and spacious. There are lovely common spaces that make you feel you are in a living room and not a hotel. Breakfast was very filling great coffee.

The hotel is very very cozy, the attention is great. The prices are very good. Love to stay there. We often go there with our children it is very well situated in the heart of Cuenca. The offer breakfast, not lunch and not dinner but there are plenty of nice restaurants in a walking distance. The rooms are extremely clean...

Great central location, friendly and helpful staff, and good value make it a place I would return to. My tiny complaint would be that our door could only stay closed when locked. With only one key it was a slight inconvenience when we as a couple were not together.

I stayed in Casa San Rafael for 3 weeks last March. I was with two friends, and we were attending Yanapuma Language School which was a short distance from the hotel. The facilities were beautiful and comfortable, and a made-to-order breakfast was served every morning. It couldn't have been better. We had a double room and a single. The prices...

I recommend the beautiful Casa San Rafael, their location, their staff and their breakfast without hesitation. Our family of six spend a few days there this week and as a special bonus were lucky enough to enjoy the Pase del Nino from our balcony.

Casa San Rafael is one of the best Hotel in Cuenca. We stayed in Cuenca for 2 nights to see all the area. The rooms was big enough with views of the city. The breakfast was really tasty prepared with local ingredients. People are friendly , a place to feel like home!

We stayed here 2 nights. It is more like a B & B than a hotel. We had a room with 2 double beds and 2 sets of balcony doors. It was very roomy and clean. We loved the bathroom- the shower had instant hot water and great water pressure. The staff was very pleasant. We especially liked the woman...

The hotel building is an old house with wooden floors and a beautiful courtyard. The rooms were clean but not very big, we first were in the top rooms without any windows but changed then to another one (I suggest you room 203). The girl from the reception was very kind and also helped us to make reservations for restaurants....
