I work in tourism and I used to go to eat often to this place, never had complainned but I didnt like when I moved before arriving with my group and I told them about how many we were, they were rude, unpolite, and for overall they had discussions with my VIP clients, is so rude to see this when...

We stopped here for lunch as part of a Cajas tour when I was in a Spanish immersion program in Cuenca. The grounds are clean, beautifully manicured, and there are trout ponds and animals. The restaurant was busy, efficient, with beautiful natural lighting. We were served fresh vegetables with the meal of trout, and there were linens on the tables....

Our tour group of 21 stopped here for lunch on our way to Cuenca. The setting is idyllic...mountains, trout pond, waterfalls, geese...and all this can be enjoyed while eating. Our meal was delicious, many of us had the trout, and service was friendly and prompt. Dining room was bright and cheerful with the colorful tablecloths and flowers. This is the...

The place is certainly beautiful. The hostel was built respecting the rock and small water falls coming down from the mountain. The pools are filled with trouts and they have several geese, and a black swan. Truly a beautiful place to stay. That said, the food at the restaurant was not great. Of you visit Dos Chorreras, stick to the...

This place is on the road between Cuenca and Guayaqil. If you are in the area do not miss stopping here. We stopped for lunch and had the fresh Trout. It was fantastic. They seem to raise their own fish and is a trout farm. The main lodge was beautiful. Lots of sitting areas and fireplaces. We are sorry we...

This truly is a five star accommodation tucked away right at the edge of the Cajas National Park. Dos Chorreras is an all exclusive mountain resort. They offer a wide variety of activities and the restaurant is one of the finest places that I have ever eaten at, any where. If the opportunity presents itself to stay here, I would...

We drove from Cuenca to Guayaquil in April 2015. Our driver asked us, if we would like to have a lunch break at one of his favourite locations. We stopped at the Dos Chorreras and we did like it a lot. The kitchen is excellent there, and the scenery is also worth the stop. After ordering our food we went...

We made a very enjoyable lunch stop here on our way from Guayaquil to Cuenca through the El Cajas National Park. Unsurprisingly, we opted for trout which was beautifully cooked. As you come down from El Cajas into Cuenca, you should definitely take in Dos Chorreras. We stopped for lunch which while not the cheapest option, was absolutely lovely - a good locro de papa and an exquisitely cooked trout. Service was efficient and the place itself is incredible - built into the rock of the mountain, with lots of...
