Love the juices, love the music (sometimes they play adele or latin)friendly service, good wifi, only a bit higher prices than the usual and more local juice places. Also a nice place to meet other tourists or backpackers.

I went here for breakfast expecting the coffee to be amazing considering the name. Although the service was good and the food was tasty (we ordered the French toast and chicken panini) the price was quite high for breakfast (over 20 USD). I think this place probably is better value for dinner as the prices for the main meals on...

This second Magic Bean restaurant is less busy than the one in the Marshal, equally good food, and great service. Recommend the lentil burger and fries as well as one of the multi-fruit veggie juices.

The latte and espresso is good. Their hummus is also very good. They have a good variety of breakfast foods which look very good - will have to try that on another occasion. Wifi is free and good enough to Skype home:-)

I've been to Quito 4 times now and I always end up at the Magic Bean, mostly because of the variety of options. I travel with a picky bunch of co-workers, including vegetarians, which makes this place an easy choice. The staff is usually friendly and the quality is consistent. The Mariscal (neighborhood) is a total dump and I generally...

I ate dinner here with a tour group on 03/25/2016. When the tilapia arrived at the table, I knew it was bad. It smelled awful and had a gray color to it. Everyone at my table ordered the same thing. About half of us got violently ill. It is now 04/04/2016 and I am still recovering. I am waiting for...

The Magic bean has only 4 rooms, but caters to most needs. 2 rooms have 4 beds in each with a shared washroom (great for a group of girls or guys or backpackers traveling on a budget), 1 room has a matrimonial bed, washroom and kitchen, and 1 room has a double and single bed with a washroom (which we...

Stayed here to be more central to everything. Wasn't bad by any means but not great either for the pricing. Was pretty loud at night I didn't mind it so much but my friend had a hard time falling asleep. Creepy cool decor of masks on the wall. Just fyi!

Had dinner once here, ate peppers with onions & tomato with cheese on top with rice. Taste was not good, was unable to finish the whole thing. On a subsequent visit just wanted rice & cooked vegetables, asked for the same, the waiter insisted that they can only serve what was there in the menu with nothing customized. My special...

We stopped in this restaurant at the recommendation of our tour guide from the previous day. We were not disappointed. It is open air, and has a very pleasant ambiance. Our food was excellent and the price was very reasonable. As is obvious by their name, coffee is a specialty here, and it was delicious. The service was very good....
