Spent two nights at the hotel reina Isabel. The staff was nice and welcoming. Good location. Very large quiet room. Very modern. Luxury bathroom. Breakfast was fine but not noteworthy. It seems if you know who to ask you can get items that aren't on the buffet table.

We were upgraded to a suite for no extra charge. The suite was wonderful including the very modern bathroom. Staff were friendly and gracious, especially Juan Chung at the front desk. Mr. Chung assisted us in several very important ways from a lot of misc. info in Quito, our cell phones, and helped us obtain airline reservations. Mr. Chung did...

We stayed here 3 times and each room was fantastic. I is all modern with great showers and even a bidet in one room, a suit. Internet access is fantastic with plenty of chairs and tables for your laptop and work ... or travel research. Rates are very fair on-line and they often let you have a late checkout for...

Our luggage was lost enroute to Quito and we were told it would be a full 24 hours after our 12:30 am arrival before we would receive it so we were not in the most joyous of moods when we arrived at Hotel Reina Isabel. The late night front desk staff and bellhop changed that very quickly. They were kind,...

Under 40 rooms. Some are in a second bldg I'd recommend you avoid. Very little English at front desk or on TV. Most guests are American but like too many hotels the only English TV is CNN World. Possibly BBC World. No AC and you may have only one window that opens and it may not be in your bedroom....
