It was a good location for the price, within walking distance of Plaza Foch, a kind of night life zone in Quito. Although you have to walk to get to the Trole (Subway like transportation service). The hotel is a little dated, but has all the services in order. The staff tries to help although having to ring to enter...

Upon arrival to the hotel, we were very disappointed with the area. We thought, that we have booked a hotel in the livable area of Quito. However, it turned out to be more of an industrial area within walking distance to more interesting areas of the city. Having said that, we were very impressed with the service at the front...

I lived in Quito about 12 years ago and was looking for a reasonable priced and well located hotel to see all the sights. The Eugenia hotel proved to be a very good choice. It is close to the airport, the Historical District and the commercial area sourounding the Carolina Park. Everywhere I went was less than $5 by cab....

Enjoyed our stay at EH thanks to the staff. If you're looking for a clean hotel near the airport with friendly staff- this is the place for you. The surrounding area is safe with restaurants and nightclubs. Only disappointing factor was the wifi. Overall- big thumbs up!

Front desk staff speaks english, hotel is quiet and clean, of our two rooms (one first floor one third) both had comfortable beds, good bathrooms, and plenty of closet space. Breakfast, included is good in a pretty dining room.

We were in Quito for 3 nights after trip to Galapagos. It is located in a very good area with several restaurants. The reception staff speak perfect English and one of the waiters's English is good. Decor is of older style but suits the hotel. Breakfast is adequate but the dinner menu and food very good.

We stayed in larger and more expensive hotels during our month long visit to Ecuador, but Hotel Eugenia was a stand out. It was a small, charming and beautifully decorated hotel with a friendly and helpful staff, most of whom, spoke perfect English. The room was small and did not have storage space in the bathroom, but was perfect for...

I was in Quito for two nights on my way to Cuenca, and on my way back, and found this great hotel in Quito. It is located in a great area around plenty restaurants and shopping. The hotel is small and cozy. The rooms are very nice sized, inviting and clean. Check in and out is fast and easy, and...

I stayed here for two nights a few weeks ago and had a pleasant experience. The staff spoke flawless English (which made it easier to inquire about things) and the rooms themselves were pleasant with spacious bathrooms. The hotel itself is decorated in an older theme and this is reflected in the rooms, but overall it's comfortable. Comfortable beds and...

I stayed at this charming victorian hotel for a few days while working on my visa. The staff spoke English and went out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as possible and even brought me ice for my back as I was in very much pain. Can't speak for all the rooms, but the bed in my...
