Pros: good value, strong wifi, excellent breakfast with large portions, staff gave us a welcome pot of tea when we arrived, shared bathrooms were mostly available, overall the place was clean. Cons: Our budget double room was above the front door which when people arrived in the night would wake us, they also had a puppy at the place which...

Nice hostal to stay in Quito! Close to the heart of La Mariscal area (3 minutes walking from Plaza Foch), but in a small street with few traffic so the place is relatively quiet! We spent 3 nights there, our preference goes to the double bedroom with shared bathroom as they are good value for money (38 dollars with taxes...

The difference with this hostel is that the environment is more warm and relaxed, closer to what you could expect from a Bed & Breakfast than a hostel. The owner comes from a background in tourism and has excellent recommendations for places to visit in Ecuador as well as having contacts around the country. He went out of his way...

We stayed at the hostel for two nights. The breakfast was delicious, the staff helpful and the room was nice and clean. If you want the perfect start for your trip visit this hostel. One of the guys that worked at the hostel drove us to the bus station to make sure that we would catch a safe bus. Very...

Kingdom kitchwa is an amazing place to stay. it is a good area 5 minutes from plaza Foch and is therefore very central but still far enough away so there aren't to many people and noice on the street. Me and my friend came her to stay for 2 days, and it was so nice. The family who has it...

Very nice place. Perfect location, 5 min walking distance to Plaza Foch but very calm. Clean, good breakfast, comfortable room. I stayed 3 times during my tour of Ecuador and each time I was like at home. I got also a lot of useful advice and help to organize my trips and used hostel transfer service for airport or bus...

I am a solo female traveller who stayed here one week. The place was amazing! The location is great - close to shops, great food, and parks. You can walk to old town pretty easily. I always felt safe in the area. The guesthouse was clean and cozy. Breakfast was fresh and filling, but the best part was the real,...

Ela, Chasy and Louis were great hosts. Their hotel is great. They were always ready to make a recommendation on what to see or do in Quito / Ecuador. Super helpful! The included breakfast was always full of fresh yummy goodness. Next time we are in Quito, we will be sure to stop over there again. Ela and Chasky are...

I have just stayed here for three nights and I can not recommend enough. The place is very clean and homely. There are a variety of rooms available, from dorms, to single rooms, to double rooms and even family rooms. I stayed in a double room which had two double beds. The staff here are probably the most friendly people...

I stayed with Kingdom Kichwa for one night while I was in Quito (I stayed a day longer than initially intended). It was in a great location, very close to Plaza Foch. Ella and Chasky are extremely friendly and hospitable. I arrived around 9 pm with a sour stomach and they were kind enough to make soothing tea for me...
