This hotel is located in a beautiful hotel. The photos make it look like a fancy boutique hotel, but it's a little more understated in person. It is still quaint, charming and the rooms are interesting and decorated with nice art. The beds are so very comfortable and they have plenty of layers to keep you warm on chilly nights....

I happened by Cafe Cultura as I was returning from Quitumbe bus station. The advertised special for $7.99 drew me in for a look at least. I was the only one there casually dressed, but they welcomed me in. I immediately ordered my usual beer (Pilsen's popular here) as the water asked if I wanted the special. A few minutes...

The hotel is well located close to the new town but within 30 minute walk of the old town. The decor is stylish and comfortable with a nice lounge area. We did not try the restaurant as it was not open during our visit. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was tired; the bed linen was thin and...

For the Habitat III conference, we were all running to get a room in Quito and I found Cafe Cultura, that was right next to the conference. The place is lovely, full of charm, and has the winning combination of Dutch efficiency and Ecuadorian welcome and friendliness. The hotel also arranged a condor safari on my last day, a real...

Merika and all the staff were very helpful both prior to and during our trip. The artwork and murals in the hotel are fantastic and it was lovely to find a reliable supply of hot water! Our breakfasts were delicious too! A lovely finale to our trip to Ecuador.

My husband and I stayed at The Cafe Cultura in Quito during our short stay in the city. We were welcomed by the multi ligual staff and made to feel at home immediately. The beds and pillows are incredibly comfy and the hotel close to everything in the city.

We stayed here for six nights, and the hotel was such a great central location to everything in the city and extremely reasonably priced. It's about 45 min from the airport (a $30 cab ride). The property is staffed 24 hours and gated (and locked) at all times. We stayed in room 16 which had a cute little outdoor patio...

We spent four nights here in Quito. Lovely staff and owners very warm and go out of their way to ensure your stay is comfortable. Each room of the hotel is unique with a Tuscan theme. Our room had fresh roses in it on our arrival and a four claw cast iron bath was so lovely to soak in. Close...

Reminded me of grandma's old house, high ceilings, squeaky floorboards, plenty of character, a sense of comfort and warmth - add in some fascinating art work on the walls and we have a hotel I would return to in an instant. We enjoyed our stay, good location with fantastic friendly and helpful staff

We stayed here four days in advance of a tour group, and will return at the end for some additional time. Can't say enough good things about staff--helpful, sweet, and know their stuff. Very good recommendations from Merika on a day tour to Mindo cloud forest and points en route; she set us up with one of the best drivers/guides...
