A great little place close to Plaza Foch but far enough away on a quiet street that you have a little peacefulness. Surrounded by good restaurants, wonderful staff, and clean, interesting rooms with private balconies. A delicious, filling breakfast comes with the room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to anyone.

A perfect pivotal spot in Quito, on a gorgeous street far enough from the loud action nearby as to be romantic. The archItecture alone is worth noting, with cool bedroom patios and terraces, with vibrant flowers and wildlife down below. Service is 5 star at all times. Very helpful staff for luggage stowage, ridiculously good breakfast and taxi hookups. A...

Medieval style hide-away, with quaint French decor on a fairly quiet street in Mariscal district of Quito. Great for couples, singles, or small groups/families. Efficiency units are fully equipped but there's such a variety of reasonable and tasty cuisines within a walk that who wants to cook? Multiple seatings at the breakfast patio and indoor dining area (seats 10-20 max.)...

The Antinea is very quaint. It's a restored old colonial mansion and it has a lovely, homey feel. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a pleasant balcony. However, if you want a modern hotel, this is not the place for you. Everything is clean and charming but very outdated! Located in Mariscal on a lovely street, there are restaurants,...

Although the beds weren't the most comfortable, everything else was lovely and made up for the humble beds. Service was great and we felt very safe at the hotel. Another plus was the hammock lounge! We had a lovely view from our family apartment and plenty of space. The Internet was kind of slow, but worked. Plenty of restaurants and...

Stayed at the Antinea twice in April and May and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Quito. Good location close to many restaurants. The period hotel is full of character and some rooms have a kitchenette. Everyone there is very helpful and the charming receptionist Veronica speaks perfect English. Nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast was delicious with...

A very pretty small hotel with exceptionally helpful staff. The room was very good. The location is perfect. Near the excitement of Plaza Foch, but just far enough away to avoid the noise. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed my stay in Quito. Staff are helpful and friendly. Central location, yummy breakfast. Spacious rooms, street noise an occasional problem. Good WiFi access. Looking forward to my next visit.

We stayed here for one night upon arrival in Quito, and used the hotel transport to collect us at the airport late at night. The Antinea is really cosy and quaint, with a homely feel. The furniture and art are interesting and add a personal feel to the place. Our twin room was spacious and comfortable with a pleasant balcony....
