We stayed at hotel Quito on our last Gate 1 tour of Equador. The first night at beginning of our tour we had a wonderful room on fifth floor overlooking the pool and a beautiful view of mts . The room was large and modern. On our return end of tour 6 days after we had a room down one...

Got charged $94 for laundry,(more than the room)???? Poor staff. Rooms are over rated and not cleaned early enough. Pool doesn't feel "heated". Nobody speaks English. Must wear trousers in the low class of restaraunt. Poor location. No tours offered. Nobody offered to carry luggage. Wi-fi very slow and always dissconnects. Will not be reccommending this hotel, infact will be doing...

We were really happy with our stay at this hotel. The view was fabulous, great breakfast, fine rooms, huge heated pool. They held our bags while we were traveling, were very helpful with cabs, etc. The location was convenient and regardless, you will end up taking cabs in Quito and they are very cheap. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Beside the views of Quito, I have no idea what made tripadvisor praise this hotel. Yes, it is big, the rooms are clean and the 7th floor restaurant is ok, but besides that it is hugely overpriced, without any charm or atmosphere. The staff and hotel rules seemed inflexible to me and the view is only good if there are...

The breakfast and view are the highlights of this hotel. We had a nice stay over two days - when we finally got to the place. They had an overbooking the first night and put us at a hotel around the corner. Which was pretty annoying at 1 in the morning. Then we had to repack and get out of...

We stayed in the Hotel Quito twice during our tour of Ecuador, once at the beginning and again at the end of our trip. The first room afforded a spectacular view of the nearby volcanoes and the city, while the second room was not as stunning, we were exhausted anyway and didn't really care. The view from the 7th Floor...

We spent three nights at Hotel Quito, and found it to be conveniently located, clean, and we fully appreciated the complimentary Wi-Fi access. Our initial stay was one night on our way to Cuyabeno, and we returned for two nights on our return from the Galapagos. The rooms were clean, the included breakfast was delicious and extensive, with a fabulous...

While I hear good things about this hotel, I found it to be quite average. The first room I had was on the far end of the hotel, had horrible lighting and the room smelled funny. It felt like a college dorm room. The restaurant upstairs is nice with a great view. I tried to take the stairs to the...

Stayed at this hotel on a tour of Ecuador. Upon entering the hotel, the view across the lobby is fantastic and overlooks the pool area. My room was on the 3rd or 4th floor if I recall and overlooked the backside by the pool area. Fantastic views and I had a nice king sized bed and flat screen TV. The...

We got to spend 2 nights at Hotel Quito as part of our tour of the Galapagos Islands with G Adventures. Hotel Quito is situated in a great location with stunning views of Volcan Pichincha and the surrounding mountains. We stayed in two different rooms on the third floor during our time in Quito. Both were incredibly spacious and played...
