We spent 3 nights at this gorgeous gem. Our room had a lovely balcony and overlooked the statue of the virgin. You can walk many places from here and the staff is extremely attentive about arranging day trips or tours. This might sound like a small thing, but being able to flush paper instead of putting it in a trash...

...Wish they had given us option not to stay as metro station under noisy construction opposite or another room.Check first or get room facing away from work. Quito live like a local tour a good option.Beautiful rooms in hotel and restaurant good quality .Service impeccable.Unfortunately they had two separate beds and didn't think about us as a couple so best...

Eight of us, 4 adults and 4 kids ages 8-11, had a wonderful dining experience at the restaurant. Four of us, the adults, had the 7 course tasting menu, and the kids ordered a variety of items from the a la carte portion of the menu. We loved the presentation of the dishes as well as the flavors of every...

We had a great stay here, very welcoming and friendly. Ideally placed for the old city of Quito and a short walk for everywhere we wanted to see. They started luggage for us between trips at no extra charge, really useful. Thoroughly recommend.

Our group booked through a travel designer, UNTAMED PATH. Real expensive, later we found this actual establishment on trip advisor half the price! The hotel is average, not worth the price we paid.....service is slow, rooms dark

This is a beautiful hotel, both the exterior, the lobby, garden, restaurant and the rooms. You feel welcomed and are well taken care of. It is a great location to walk to the majority of the Quito major highlights in the heart of the old town.

We stayed at Casa Gangotena on 3 occasions during our time in Ecuador & Galápagos Islands. We only stayed for 1 or 2 nights at a time but the hotel was always welcoming & treating us as valued returning customers. The rooms were all exceptionally comfortable with, I think, the highest quality bed linen I've ever experienced! A small quality...

I went to Casa Gangotena for the first time on my recent trip to Quito. I was impressed with all from the gorgeous design and inviting staff that accommodated me while dining solo at the restaurant's bar. Exceptional service; I was treated like family and the food was excellent.

We stayed here for two nights before heading to the Galapagos. It is a beautiful old building, lovingly maintained, in the heart of historic Quito. We had a very large, comfortable room. No view (patio roof) but quiet. The bathroom was also very large, with both a walk in shower and a large bathtub. Nice touch was fresh fruit left...
