Excellent meals, a beautiful view on the cotopaxi and several other mountains. The accomodation was verz nice with a little stove in the room. There is a nice hike guided by the hostel workers too. I liked espeacially the really big hammocks in the garden.

I am just after visiting the lovely Secret Garden hostel with my friend this week. We had a two night package deal which was really comprehensive and covered our beds, food, hikes and even the transport to the hostel. The hostel itself has a really cosy feel with a hearty fireplace, friendly dogs and of course the constant supply of...

The place has a magnificent location and the whole area deserves some days to appreciate. The rooms are cozy and warm, all with a view. The down point is that bathrooms are located outside your room, so if you need to go at midnight...well..... The staff is helpful, the guy in charge Victor is kind and ready to offer any...

I opted for the 3 day 2 night package that included accommodation, food and some hikes around Cotopaxi. The hostel is set in the most stunning setting, with an incredible view of Cotopaxi in the distance. You can choose to stay in a hobbit home or in the dorm (I chose the cheaper option - dorm) which had a fireplace...

The rooms were nice and clean, there was even a fireplace in the dorms! The view was amazing and the facilities were good as well. Every day you could do a tour, such as hiking or horsebackriding. Very nice and well organised!

This place has so much potential but it is sadly lacking a number of things. It could be more organised at times. 1. Volunteers are all over the place. A major pet hate for me. Volunteers are doing tasks that could easily be done by locals. Serving food for one, making shelves another. 2. Volunteers sleeping on tge couches during...

This hostel provides shuttle service from Quito Secret Garden daily leaving at 10am. It's about a 2.5 drive and the total vehicle cost is 40, split by however many passengers, often 5 or 6, so less than 5PP! This Cotopaxi hostel is managed by a wonderful group of young volunteers, from all over the globe. It provides 3 meals a...

My boyfriend and me are travelling in South America for 6 months and this is BY FAR the best hostel we've ever stayed in! The scenery is beautiful, the rooms are big and clean, the food is delicious, the volunteers are amazing, the dogs are cute, the fireplace is cosy... We really can't think of one bad thing about this...

We could stay only three days because we were a bit in a time-rush, but we will come back for sure! Victor and Sofia, the volunteers and the amazing cooking staff made our stay amazing, and the most beautifull view we've ever seen helped with it as well! We did the Pasachoa and Cotopaxi hike and both of them were...

Not only is the landscape surrouding you gorgeous, but Secret Garden's homey vibes and wonderful volunteers will make you want to stay forever (not to mention the free banana cake always available and the 5 cute dogs). Every day at 5pm, along with snack time, you will be able to choose what activity you want to do the next day,...
