We stayed more than a year ago! I'm sorry I don't know how it slipped my mind not to review this most wonderful property and to thank Amber, the owner and her excellent team who took very good care of us.

Rumiloma is indeed the place to fall in Love. Rooms are Magically decorated. Food is amazing. The whole place is a dream. But service is exceptional. Jorge Luis, Paulina , Vale and Mauricio made us fell like Royalty. A must go if visiting Quito.

Great hotel with lovely spacious rooms beautifully decorated.
Restaurant servers lovely food (a bit pricey) and the breakfast is lovely and to order.
We loved the llamas and peacocks that roam around the hotel at daytime.
The hotel is set just up the mountainside away...More

We stayed here during the Habitat III conference and it made all the difference. Don't let the drive up through some less rich parts of Quito disturb you - this is a safe haven. The staff are gracious and helpful, the lodgings are exquisite and...More

The location is beautiful. This Hacienda is placed in the middle of mountains and very close to the city. At first it seemed to be a very nice experience, unfortunately what we paid for the food and what we got in return was nothing to...More

Just returned from Hacienda Rumiloma. Stayed there 3 nights with family and friends. Beautiful place with fantastic views of Quito but very boring. Can't really walk around the property but can admire the peacocks from our window. Staff does not speak English. Breakfast is included but missable. Dinner menu was delicious but does not warrant the NYC prices! Not recommend for children or anyone not in perfect physical shape. I walk 3-4 miles daily but found it difficult to walk around here due to unkept grounds and height. Might be a good place for honeymooners since it is very isolated with absolutely nothing to do.
