I spent New Years with the staff of this hostel! They were very kind and welcoming and even included me in their dinner! I'll never forget my stay here. The hostel is nice, good breakfast and has a hot shower. Everything you can ask for in this price.

We stayed in the double room on the first floor (by reception desk) and had an abysmal 2 days. Even when we first walked in, the room smelt of damp. Even the bed linen and pillowcases smelt damp. The room was constantly cold, so has serious ventilation issues (though there is an extractor fan in the bathroom). Occasionally, when you... More

My sincere apologies, our policy in the hostel is that you can feel good and comfortable, it's why within the rules of the hostel is "to ask for help if something does not like, or bothers you or seems inappropriate" if ud not mentioned anything, we think that all is well. In this case we just change the room, for... More

I have had the pleasure of staying at Valpackers during my time here in Valparaiso and it has been a really great stay. Karen, the hostess is very helpful when it comes to showing you places where to go and knows spots that are away from the usual tourist destinations. As I am traveling alone, Karen also took the time... More

We had the pleasure of staying at Valpackers hostel in Valpo for 10 days in April, and we loved it! This place is decorated very nicely and creatively. It has a great kitchen where you can cook your meals and they offer you breakfast for a small price. The living room is a nice room to relax in and meet... More

Somos Estadounidenses. We got her and were a little concerned about the location, because it was kind of on the wrong side of town. However, the hostel was very nice, except for the very narrow bathroom stalls, but again, somos americanos grandismos. Thourghouly enjoyed my stay at this hostel. The staff was very friendly and gave us great advice on what to do in valpo. Although not right in the tourist center it is about a ten minute walk which isn't bad at all.

A relaxed, oddball hostel run by a very friendly English-speaking artistic couple - they've put a lot of work into the decor, which is kinda wacky but fun to wake up to! A nice old building with plenty of character. Great place to chill - thankfully free of partying Gap Yah types. Also easy walking distance from both the bus... More
