We stayed 3 nights in El rinco Marino and these were good. The hostel is a bit out of the city center (10 min walk) but very close to the bus terminal (3 blocks), which is very convenient, and make it a cheaper option for same quality. It is run by a very friendly family, offers cosy rooms and massive...

This is a nice hostel, only five minutes to walk from the bus station in downtown Valparaiso. It is not the nices part of the city, but we enjoyed staying here because it is close to the bus station, the metro (if you want to go to Viña del mar) and many of the elevators. The rooms here are big,...

Very convenient spot if you're in Valpo for one night. It is not located in the centre but conveniently close to the bus station. The host is great and gave us info for taking the local bus to Vina del Mar. Communal kitchen is great. Fruit for breakfast!

We only stopped here for one night so we weren't too bothered about where we stayed, but this hostel did the job for us. We had a large double room with a TV and a comfortable bed. It was nice and quiet at night. The shared bathroom was a bit dated but it had hot water and everything worked fine....

We stayed here for a few days in May. The place was quite empty and it felt as if it had known better times. We were offered a very big room with a nice and confortable bed that was probably the highlight of our stay. The shared bathroom was OK, decently clean. The shared kitchen was pretty basic but functional...

Stayed at el rincon a few days ago after a stay in Santiago in a room like a shoe box so to get a beautiful large double room was great to us. The building is lovely and just enough away from the main road to give you peace and quiet. Breakfast is included and wifi so great bonus. The german...

We had a double room with private bath (and free cable tv) and were very satisfied. The owner was very friendly and gave us al the information we needed for our stay in Valparaiso. The room was spacious and the old but well kept buidling gave it a special feeling. It is in walking distance of the busterminal and the...

We stayed here a few nights before our cruise. Four blocks from the bus terminal and 5 blocks from the cruise terminal. One can not get any closer than this! We had a spacious room with private fascilities, breakfast, internet for an unbeleavable price. We booked the accommodation from Australia and were very pleasantly surprised when we got here. The...

A rude night watchman deemed it appropriate to wake a number of guests because one guest discretely brought a Chilean girl home. Banging on a door in the early hours of the morning and repeating the word 'woman' in a loud voice disturbed a number of guests including families with small children. A completely unnecessary and indiscrete response to a...

This is a good value option if you are not bothered about staying on one of the touristy hills. It is within walking distance of the bus station and in a safe and central location. The rooms are big with high ceilings and very comfortable with cable TV and private bathrooms. A filling breakfast of fruit, bread, cheese, ham, marmalade...
