Here I am in 2021 and I still remember the delicious granola I’ve had at CasaSur (I actually stayed there in 2017…). So I went to TripAdvisor to see some pictures and remember that breakfast. Since I’m not able to travel these days, any chance you give us the recipe of that delicious granola? On a side note, the other thing I enjoyed was the smart use of space inside the room, with big opened storage space just perfect to accommodate luggage.

We stayed here for two nights, and couldn't have been more pleased. This is a small hotel (5 rooms?) that is very much like a cozy B&B. It was fresh and clean and absolutely spotless. The young staff was so friendly and accommodating. We had to be out the door one morning at 6 a.m.; they had an excellent breakfast all prepared for us. They recommended a delightful local restaurant for us one night. Loved our experience there!

I have hesitated in writing this review given the consistent glowing reviews of the property, which for the most part they deserve. The staff are great, helpful and interested in their customer. The breakfast beautiful, the property a little oasis behind the orange door. Personal touches with your name on room door and also the blackboard downstairs .The rooms beautifully clean and cosy. The only issue for us was a noise coming from the airconditioning system, causing interupted sleep.

Wow! We had no idea what to expect in Santiago and the drive from the airport through the busy roads did not prepare us for this gem of a place! We were welcomed so warmly, it was as if we had been there for years. The two lovely staff on reception spoke good English and settled us into our room nice and quickly. The whole hotel is bright, airy and made for relaxing. It was a nice touch to see our names on the blackboard in reception and on the room sign as well, rather than just a number. We were given great tips and advice about the local area and further afield. The team there adds their own personal notes and recommendations to the local maps so that they can make sure their advice is up to date and their recommendation of Verde Sason for dinner was worth five out of five stars alone! The rooms are clean and the beds were so comfy and huge, we could happily get lost in them. Breakfasts were tasty and filling with simple but great choices and a good selection to enjoy. It is only a few minutes to the main area of Barrio Italia or the metro station and being in a quiet side street, there was no traffic to disturb the morning lie-in. With just the six rooms and such brilliant service, this has to be the best place to stay in Santiago.

Absolutely love this small hotel. While in Chile, we stayed in 6 great hotels & CasaSur was our favorite. It’s beautiful, comfortable, and clean. The breakfast is delicious and the staff goes above and beyond. Barrio Italia is interesting and well located near all Santiago has to offer.
