I went to Chile in winter by choice, and stayed there a week in mid July 2014 with the purpose of snow activities. So, I do like cold wheather... but not in my shower. Coming back from a fantastic white day in Farellones, sweaty, very tired & craving for a bath discovered that it would not be possible. At first...

The staff are very friendly, but the hotel is very old and not very comfortable for mature couples or families with kids. It is located in an extremely noisy street during the day, and at night the noise is impossible, specially on the weekends which reaches the maximum.

This is a great choice if you are on a budget, aren't expecting too much and want to stay in a lively area. It is noisy as there are bars all around it but if that's why you are staying there, like I was, then its not a problem. Beds are comfortable and the showers are great.

Just got out of the taxi to enter the hotel, paid the tax driver and got my other luggage, when my back pack with all the souvenirs I have bought from my other trips to Brazil and Argentina was stolen... My other two friends and I rented a triple unit on the fourth floor which was extremely small, no elevator,...

"Very careful" , Don't book this hotel, they steal your money, Ana Maria And Maria Helena are hostess in the hotel and they look like cool people, but it is false, they work together, they ask you when is your last day then when you go out, they enter in your room and steal your money. I could realize just...

I tried to book a room thru the booking form they have on their website and after filling it in (including my credit card info) there was a message saying that they would contact me to confirm my reservation. Almost one week later as I did not hear from them I decided to call the hotel. The lady who attended...

Hotel Monteverde is a nice small ´appartment´ hotel in the Baria Bellevista in Santiago de Chile. Apartment means that you will have a small kitchen with fridge and microwave. The room was clean and the people were really friendly. It´s a few minutes walk along Pino Noño from metrostation Baquedano. The hotel is right between the cheap cafés along Pino...

The room here was so small I could barely get my suitcase open unless I put it on the bed. The place stunk of cigarette smoke. The bathroom was very small, but it was clean. There is no internet access at all for guests. There was also no drinking water, tea or coffee in the room and no room service....

I would recommend this place for solo travelers or night owls. It is right on the Pio Nono street. This place has a bunch of bars and is packed every night of the week with younger people drinking beer. It is within walking distance to the zoo and the Baqedano station. I wouldn't recommend it if you go to bed...

I found this place while browsing on the web. Overall I liked the place; the rooms were clean and they come with free breakfast every morning (delivered to your room whenever you want). The location is good; only a few blocks away from the Baquedano subway station. There's plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The only negative about the hotel...
