We really enjoyed our stay at The Vilafranca Petit Hotel. We were the first stop on the shuttle bus once we reached Santiago. The night assistant was waiting for us. It was near 11pm. He gave us a quick tour of the dining room and the living room after we checked in, then helped us to our room. The room...

It is some moths ago now, but I think her name is Gloria, the queen of the establishment. We were treated like family, and we felt very much at home. Comfortable beds, really good breakfast, a lovely garden and steep stairs. This is the place to be if you want to stay central in Santiago, and still pay a reasonable...

I wish all BnBs were this great. It's was the perfect place to start my holiday and if highly recommend. Excellent breakfast and comfy bed. Wooden floors make it a little noisy but the service makes up for that! Gloria helped me organise my taxi to the airport and even got up at 3am to see me off!

Having just stayed in several hotels in Argentina and Chile, I can say unquestionably that this was the best I stayed in and a superior hotel/B&B overall. The hotel is a rare older building in a city of nearly all new buildings and has a pretty exterior. The breakfasts were excellent, the wifi strong, the bed comfortable, the furnishings lovely,...

My family stayed here for 1 night while visiting Santiago. This hotel is in a great neighborhood of STGO, Providencia. Very safe and a lot of stores and restaurants within walking distance. The metro is only a few blocks away and easy to find. Vilafranca is a boutique hotel with solid wood floors and beautiful large windows. A nice patio...

We had a great four days and three nights at the Vilafranca. Gloria arranged transportation from the Santiago airport so we were met as we exited baggage claim. That began our very easy and efficient exploration of the city. The neighborhood is vibrant and provides interesting sights as you walk to the Metro station or the mall. The breakfasts were...

We did not see or meet the owner and the staff spoke no English. We had to use the Tourist info office to find out about restaurants, airport transfers etc. The bathroom (half a bath tub with shower) could do with upgrading. There was no fridge in the room and one shelf in the wardrobe collapsed. Location is good near...

Spent 4 nights in this lovely small hotel within 10 minutes of a metro station. The establishment is small with some lovely furnishings. It's an old building with lovely wooden floors, that creak. The rooms are spotless with good fluffy white towels and toiletries. There is a comfortable sitting room and pleasant shaded patio. Our room was on the first...

Thankyou Gloria to you and your staff for making Emma and I feel so welcome. Your team is professional and had a wealth of knowledge to help us throughout our visit. Sorry our Spanish was so bad! Ha! This hotel is so cute and clean, situated within a 5 minute walk to the Metro and the main restaurant/cafe strip in...

This small hotel is on a quiet street, 5mns from the Manual Montt subway station (red line). There are no more than 10 rooms but the house is very well maintained, has lots of burnished wood stairs, floors, nice furniture and a warm/homey feeling to it. There is a small garden that can be used for breakfast or just reading....

“I did not stay in these rooms, but I think the rooms in the back, on the top floor are the best as far as windows and peace and quiet. It might be a little warm up there in the summer, but leaving windows open helps a lot, as it cools off during the night.”
