This is based on two stays / two rooms a week apart.

This hotel is substantially better than the one at the airport.

Bed was comfortable and a/c is strong. Wifi good throughout the hotel. Water pressure excellent, although the water smells so chlorinated as to be pool water.

The room was clean, but they need to change their mopping chemicals. There is a slippery residue throughout the room which is really noticeable if your feet are wet.

Breakfast was a travesty. Buffet with no alternative. Scrambled eggs, toast, very few pastries, fruit, and cereal. That’s it. Coffee machine wasn’t working (gasp). It was free, though, maybe. The staff wasn’t actually sure.

Transfer from the airport is on request and free. Send flight details ahead of time and your driver will arrange pickup via WhatsApp. Transfer back is only on the hour, but you can pay $20 for your own five minute taxi if you want.

Reception staff speaks English. But no one else did (including restaurant / bar staff). The hotel doesn’t accept any cash payments.

The price is reasonable and offsets the above problems. I would stay here again for a layover. The hotel is not suitable for a city visit.

We stayed here for one night between flights. We are a family of 5, with 3 kids age 12,14 & 16 so had to get 2 rooms. Positives: Rooms were a good size, well presented and clean. Comfortable beds and pillows. The free shuttle service to and from the airport was very efficient, not unchanged hanging around at all. The little pool area outside was pleasant and entertained us all for a bit. Gym had all you need for a hotel gym, cross trainer, cycle, treadmill, free weight and machine weights. Really friendly and helpful staff. Cons: Our room got rather hot in the night and we couldn’t find a remote in our room to get air con on. There is nothing else around (it’s in the middle of an industrial estate), so if you need to eat it’s the hotel restaurant or a taxi ride to a different area. We stayed and ate dinner at the hotel, not the best idea we had. The menu is limited as it is, but half the menu was not available. Not an ideal start but we found meals that we were ok with. We waited 1 and a half hours for our soup, husbands meal came way before everyone else’s. He ordered veggie burger & fries, both arrived cold but he was so hungry he ate it anyway. Kids steaks came very rare (they weren’t asked how they wanted them cooked whereas I was), so had to send them back. The food was tasty when it came but the wait was really not acceptable. They did offer us complimentary drinks and ice cream after we complained. Hopefully this will improve with time. The only other downside was noise carried from other rooms to ours and the planes outside.

Stayed two nights between connecting flights. Clean rooms of a good size. Staff very friendly and helpful. Airport transfers fine after some initial communication issues. You will need Whatsapp to communicate with the hotel ( common in South America)
This hotel is not quite the standard of others I have used in the group, mainly due to;
No information documents in the room, e.g. how to set the room safe.
Only two coffee pods provided for the duration of the stay. Extra can be purchased which seems poor service to my way of thinking. There is a machine in the lobby with a variety of coffee styles that I believe may be free??
The noise insulation from outside (traffic, planes) could have been better.
The restaurant is quite good for dinner and excellent for breakfast. The dinner choices are limited but vegetarian and vegan options were available.
The pool area is fine given the hotel location in an industrial zone close to the airport.
The hotel is in a compound secured by an electric fence and full time security that some folks may find a little daunting.

The Marriott hotel in Santiago de Chile is an absolute gem of a property. From the moment you step into the lobby, you are greeted with the utmost warmth and professionalism from the staff. The rooms are spacious and impeccably clean, with comfortable beds and all the amenities you could ask for. The views of the city from the higher floors are breathtaking, and the location of the hotel is perfect for exploring all that Santiago has to offer.

The hotel also has an excellent restaurant on site, serving up delicious local and international cuisine. The fitness center is well equipped and the pool is a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing.

Overall, I highly recommend the Marriott hotel in Santiago de Chile for anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in the city. The attention to detail and exceptional service make it a standout property in an already beautiful city.

Make the dogs stop barking PLEASE!! I checked into this hotel tonight...the night before my flight back to the USA. It's 2:30 a.m. and a dog downstairs outside the hotel will not stop barking. It's literally been barking for 45 minutes and nobody seems to be able to stop this dog from barking excessively. While I would love to recommend this hotel because it's beautiful inside It's in a terrible area, it's gated and the person who drops us off suggested that we not leave the property because they said we're not in the safe area. Not to mention this dog that absolutely will not stop barking. It's 2:30 a.m. and I have to leave for the airport in 2 hours and I can't fall asleep. I can't recommend this hotel in good conscience because this has been one of the worst night stays I've ever had in a hotel.

We were left at the airport for 40 minutes waiting on the shuttle. When we got to the room there was only 1 small bottle of water for 2 adults. WE could not get the AC to work because the batteries in the remote were dud. We could not switch on the TV and when we called reception they sent up a receptionist because there was no maintenance guy on duty. When we asked to speak to the duty manager she turned up 20 minutes later in jeans and a hoodie which I thought was inappropriate dress for a senior Marriot manager. We declined the offer to change rooms as it was late and we had an early flight. However when we woke up the next morning we discovered that all the power sockets in the room were off which left us with no phone charge and wet hair. In general the hotel suffers from lack of maintenance, during a conversation with a staff member he indicated that this was the fault of the local owner. Could I suggest that Marriot investigate this as it is their brand that is being trashed.

We spent 4 days in the hotel this week and the staff practically became family! They were exceptionally helpful organizing trips, planning packed breakfasts, making calls when we needed help with airline conformations, etc. The hotel is brand new as well with a lovely lounge and rooms.
The special highlight was the restaurant. The meals were some of the best we have ever had. The chef is amazing.

Worse hotel experience ever.
The first room we got the air conditioning was not working and they spend 1 hour to try to fix it.
2. Room there was no electricity and again we had to wait 1 hour where they tried to fix it.

Finally we got a room where everything was working.
Bed was fine and we had a good night sleep.

We booked airport transfer for 06 am
At 05,35 we were called that the bus and the other passengers was waiting.

We paid for breakfast. But the chef didn’t show up so there was no breakfast.

Pick up from the airport is only every hour so it requires a lot of waiting time.

Excellent airport hotel! Five stars. The rooms were clean and modern, the lounge ambiance relaxing, the front desk staff were helpful, the breakfast was included, for less than $150 CAD. We stayed here twice between flights, two nights each time, for a total of four nights. Ubers were easy to get, so we taxied downtown a couple of times to visit museums during the daytime. While earlier in our trip we had stayed downtown for several nights (LaStarria neighbourhood which was just ‘ok’), but we won’t do that again. We are going to stay at the Courtyard.

We had a wonderful experience. It was a perfect ending to our travels in Chile.
We knew to call a day ahead to confirm a van to pick us up at the airport. The driver was on time and helpful.
Our room was very comfortable with a view of the mountains. The air conditioning unit was amazing
The breakfast buffet was very nice, including hot choices as well as delicious fresh fruit and pastries. There was hot water and a nice selection of teas as well as delicious coffee. The staff were all very friendly in the dining area. Everything was clean and our communication with the friendly people at the front desk was easy!

Not sure I would leave my luggage for two weeks. If you speak Spanish you will be able to ensure they fully understand your request but I found the language barrier caused some issues during our stay as I don't speak Spanish.
