Only 7 minutes by shuttle from Santiago Airport, this hotel apparently operates as an airport hotel, however we didn’t feel that it was set up to service transitory guests overly well. Whilst I appreciate this is only a 3 star hotel, in my experience, an airport hotel should have a restaurant/ food service available 24/7, especially as the food choices at Santiago Airport are not great and are very fast food oriented.
Check in and check out were quick but rudimentary and not overly helpful when additional information was requested. The staff in the restaurant ( breakfast) were, however, very helpful as was the shuttle driver and security person. There was no baggage assistance and no directory of services in the room, despite a couple of cards placed around the room directing us to the non existent directory. The room we were allocated was a double double, not two queen beds as advised.
Shower temperature was inconsistent and there was no shower cap ( yes, I know, minor but important if you don’t have time to dry your hair !).
There is a large washing machine in Level 2. Very helpful if not being used.
All in all ok for a night but don’t expect much.

We stayed here before and after a cruise. The hotel was booked while riots were happening in Chile, so we chose the hotel because it had good security and was near the airport.

It provides a free shuttle bus, to and from the airport, but you have to book it. The rooms are clean, the service is good, and the food is reasonable, though at Hilton prices. The property is well secured.

This hotel is a fair way out of town, with nothing else around. We did a couple of organised tours, and had to pay extra to be collected due to the distance, and there was no option to eat other than in the hotel. So if we wanted to sightsee in Santiago there are probably better options, but if you need a full service hotel near the airport, as we did, it’s excellent.

What you would expect for a Hilton airport hotel. The rooms spacious and well appointed for an overnight stay. We had reserved the airport shuttle and the Hilton representative was waiting as detailed outside exit 6 at Santiago airport. A short drive to arrive at hotel, simple check in. Good menu options in the restaurant, a bit on the pricey side, but thats normal for airport hotels. Staff pleasant. I did see the laundry facilities on level 2 but did not use them. Return shuttle transfer left on time, so if you have no issue being about 5-10 minute drive from the airport I would recommend this hotel for your overnight airport stay.

I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn near SCL twice on my trip to Chile, and each experience provided excellent value and satisfaction. The location is convenient to the airport, albeit in an industrial area with little to do. There are sidewalks leading to a nearby bus station, but a car or taxi would certainly be more efficient for access to the city. Inside the hotel, the lobby is well-maintained and inviting, with high ceilings and an attached restaurant.

The service was fantastic. All employees spoke English, and they exhibited exceptional friendliness and professionalism. On both stays, the staff ensured I had a room facing away from the highway, and anything else I might have needed were tended to promptly.

My rooms were spacious, clean, and functional. Soundproofing met and exceeded my personal standards. The mattresses were somewhat deflated (as in when I lay down for extended periods in one spot, it began to sag downward), although that was the only con of the rooms.

Even if visiting downtown Santiago, there’s a lot of good to be said about this HGI property. I will return on my next Santiago adventure!

We spent one night in this hotel in April 2022.

During the whole time of our stay there was no internet in the hotel, which is fatal for an airport hotel. However, none of the staff seemed to care much.

Dinner and breakfast were weak. At breakfast, the buffet was incomplete and disorganised.

The hotel has an indoor pool. However, it doesn't look very appetising and it does not seem to be really in use.. In the morning, the pool was locked with a chain until at least 10.30 a.m.; there was no information about opening hours.

In short: the hotel has seen better times and seems to be poorly managed. We would rather recommend the Holiday Inn at the airport in Santiago, which is located directly in the airport itself, so that you don't have to take a taxi or a shuttle.

Stayed for quick business trip. Location is removed from any sight seeing or shopping but close to airport. The hotel was very comfortable and appealing with newer and tasteful furnishings. I experienced a hiccup due to reservations problem but the front desk assistant, Katherine was able to resolve it timely and managed to get the problem resolved quickly. I was very grateful to be able to get comfortable after the long flight. Katherine is certainly representative of all the staff at the hotel who were extremely friendly and helpful. I also enjoy a great tasting steak, perfectly prepared and their breakfast buffet was also very appetizing. Four stars only because of the remote location from activities but I would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

At time of our visit the hotel’s website advised the shuttle departed SCL airport for the hotel on the hour. Nothing more.

There are no directions as to where or how to get the bus SCL is a large, busy airport and while we found sign boards for other shuttles, Hilton was conspicuous by its absence.

When we finally got to the hotel, after asking every official in sight at the airport as to where to find the bus, check in took an age as there was only one person on the desk. His time was taken up by answering the phone from angry customers that could not find the bus.

To find the bus go to Gate 6 on the ground or arrivals floor and wait for the driver to come and look for Hilton customers. There is still a 5 minute walk over uneven ground to the bus when the driver arrives.

I emailed the hotel about the shuttle in advance but never received a response. When the driver arrived he didn’t have us on his list of pickups.

The hotel room was nice but the shower was hopeless, running from hot to cold and back very quickly.

Good luck if you stay here. Even though I now know how to get the shuttle I would not stay here again as the shuttle arrangements were too haphazard.

We were landing late in the night and leaving early in the morning, hence went for this option. We got picked up by the free hotel shuttle at 2am and dropped off at 7am, which is great. The shuttle runs every hour and pls reserve a spot with the reception ahead of time. Drive time is 5-10 mins. Rooms are quiet sizeable with decent facilities incl gym and pool plus breakfast Much cheaper than the Holiday Inn option at the airport terminal, so would do it again.

Airport hotels are usually fairly boring & uninteresting with average accomodation & food choices. This one was a bit outside the usual mould. Not as close to the airport a I would have liked & hourly shuttle service is really not so efficient & punctual ,but once inside the hotel we were very comfortable & served by friendly staff & food was not too bad overall . Not too impressed by lack of English which should be essential in any airport hotel ,but we managed to enjoy our short overnight stay.

Hi, I’m another traveller. You need to contact the Hotel. I found this ridiculously difficult, as I couldn’t find an email address, I eventually sent an email to Hilton Hotel Guest relations. Unfortunately TripAdvisor won’t let me post the email address here, either! Google ‘Hilton guest relations’. Good luck.

Dear guest, Our service departs every 1 hour 24 hours a day, with a fixed time slot (6 AM to 2 PM) and another with prior reservation (2:30 PM to 5:30 AM). Reservations are completely free and must be requested by email HGI_ReservaSantiago @ hilton . com who will send a confirmation of the service. All our departures will be from Gate number 6 located on the 1st floor of the Airport. We will be very happy to receive you at our Hotel. Have a good trip!
