I usually enjoy staying at boutique hostels, however, this was the worst one that I have ever stayed at. I stayed here on two different occasions, the first time was mediocre and the second was worse. I didn't sleep well either night because this place tends to attract heavy partyers and the street noise is terrible. The staff was rude...

If only there were hostels like this in every town. After a year of travelling I can honestly say this is the best hostel I found. PRO'S The building and decoration are beautiful. The staff are friendly, helpful and generally all round wonderful. The breakfast is great - fruit, cereal, juice, bread, eggs to cook your own way, plus cookies!...

Hostal Bella has a lot going for it. The entire place had thoughtful, trendy design, and it was very clean. The common areas were a good place to relax, and the kitchen was well-stocked. Extra marks for having wine glasses in the kitchen! The staff were also very helpful with suggestions and arranging a taxi to the airport. Pros: -Nice,...

The hostel is well located and Carla is really nice and gives great tips about Santiago. But the reality is that is impossible to sleep in the rooms facing the street unless you have ear plugs... even we had ear plugs and it was difficult to sleep! Our advice to the management team is to replace those windows with double...

My partner and I stayed here for one night on our 2 week holiday in Chile and Argentina. We are early 30s and tend to prefer B&B/hostel accommodation to hotels since we like meeting other travellers and value getting advice from hosts and staff. This hostel is well located and the staff were really nice. The room was clean and...

As a previous review mentioned, this is not a place for solo travelers. Or travelers who are interested in sleeping. The decor is nice on the inside but the noise of the street and constant buzzing at the reception desk takes away from it. You are only allowed to have liquor in the kitchen which, is in the basement and...

We stayed in this hostel on three separate occasions for a total of seven nights while traveling in Chile. Although it is a hostel, it has 2 private (triple and quad) rooms where we stayed (we traveled with our son so there were three of us). On the positive side, the hostel is in a superb location. It is steps...

Wow- I'm not a fan of hostels but this place was so comfortable I stayed three nights with no complaints. Agreed beds are huge, slept like a baby for three nights, and it's a lovely building which actually deserves 'boutique' in it's title. Carla and estepan at the front desk were so helpful in getting me a bus ticket, it...

This place was awesome. The rooms were massive and comfortable. The bathrooms clean and modern. The common areas were comfortable and inviting. The kitchen was immaculate and had everything. Free breakfast, wifi, and cable. The owner is a great friendly person and the housekeeper is just as nice. Great place to stay and highly recommended.

Nice hostel, big rooms, lockable drawers. Location is good, about 4 blocks from Constitution. Can be noisy as rooms are off a central hall, so you can hear the doorbell and the receptionist all night. There is extractor fans in the ensuite rooms (usually a great thing!) but noisy! Main issue was that, although there are common areas, and the...
