This tiny hotel is located in a beautiful, quiet neighbourhood, Providencia. It is decorated in an artisanal style -- plain but very clean and moderately priced. It was likely a house which was converted into an inn so the rooms are small. It is close to scores of great restaurants, cafes and good shopping. Be sure to double check your...

Pros: Great little ethnic-style decor place on a budget! Lovely front patio cafe with truly delicious, generous portions - had an excellent dinner!! ... ceviche (enough for a meal) as a starter and a sautéed Chilean sea bass with calamari on top and a salad of avocado, cucumber, tomato, fennel and delicate bib lettuce! Also a backyard patio to relax...

This little hotel is located in the best area of Santiago. It is in a quiet and upscale residential and very safe neighborhood but in EZ walking distance to the Metro, shopping, cafes, and restaurants. The facilities are clean and comfortable. Owned and operated by a mother and son team, they work hard to accommodate any request of the guests....

This is a budget hotel for those who need a clean place to sleep and a decent quick breakfast in the morning. Since I travel on business and on a budget, this place is ideal for me because it is just yards away from my rep's office. It's an old house converted to a hotel in a nice neighborhood in...

I came to Santiago for a short meeting and I needed a good sleep. The Intiwasi met the expectatives! Nice and large bed in a very cozy upstairs room. The bathroom had a correct size and they provided the necessary amenities. The breakfast was fine, I only had some coffee and cake, but it was varied. The staff was corteous...

I stayed here for a few days in November 2014. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the room clean and comfortable. The breakfast was okay - not the best, but overall I thought the hotel was excellent value for money. The location (Providencia) is good - it's in a quiet mainly residential area with good transport links into the...

We stayed here three nights at the end of our trip to Argentina and Chile. The first night, we stayed in Barrio Bellavista, where it was noisy all night and difficult to sleep, so we changed locations. Providencia is a comfortable and safe neighborhood for travelers, and Intiwasi, though just a short walk from the main boulevard, is peaceful and...

One of the best things about the Intiwasi is it's location, in Providencia and close to the metro, in a lovely walkable neighbourhood. Our first room, on the main floor, was quite small. We were upstairs in a much larger room on our return, which was far more comfortable as it had a balcony and the bathroom was considerably more...
