Stayed for 4 nights in the dorms, rooms were spacious and clean. The building is huge with lots of quiet areas to chill out including the massive garden area. Staff were more than happy to help with great travel advice. Also the pool is the best way to cool off in Santiago!

I am happy to have started and ended my trip in Chile at the Casa Roja. It is well known in Santiago so taxi driver didn't have any problem to drive me there from the airport. They were very helpful since i was traveling with my bicycle so they gave me space to store my bike at first and then...

Friendly staff, nice garden with pool and bar, excellent location. They have private rooms as well as dorms. Can be pretty noisy at times. It is a great hostel for solo travelers as well as for groups.

This hostel is a huge colonial house with spacious rooms, a garden with a pool and a big kitchen. There are gas heaters everywhere and they use them even in the shoulder season. The showers are hot and spend lots of water. Towels are gratis if you ask. In every room there are huge wooden lockers and there are also...

La Casa Roja would get five big 'ol stars save for their general lack of organization, particularly when it came to the kitchen. The beds aren't the most incredible thing to look at, but they're more than comfortable enough to sleep the nights away and the place is genuinely an incredible gem in the middle of Santiago, owing its roots...

I loved this hostel! Super friendly staff, clean and spacious dorms, and a great vibe throughout the place. The neighbourhood is safe, central and surrounded by good restaurants. Many of the main attractions can be reached by walking, a cheap taxi ride or a few stops on the tube. This place comes highly recommended by me. I hope to be...

Good hostel. Very expansive, lending itself to feeling like it's own little compound to enjoy yourself and the company of others within. It has a bar inside, as well as out back. They helped me park my motorbike inside their backyard, accessed by a wooden plank, which was very gracious of them. Everyone there was pretty cool. Staff might have...

We stayed here one night as we couldn't get another night at happy house. It's a massive mansion of a place which was quite cold and echoey. Could hear the people sitting in the communal area near our room quite loudly. As I packed the next morning I could hear Empire strikes back which was playing in the lounge up...
