An older hotel. I was not expecting to be blown away by this place because I read about it in a travel guide. The rooms are ok, but the lamps by the bed did not work. The elevator was out of order. I would say it is a tad overpriced. The staff was very helpful.

The hotel was ok... a little noisier than desired, but you could ask for a higher floor (our room was on the 2nd with a river view). The price wasn't bad and they had just hired a new guy that speaks fluent English :-) the picture of the sea lions is by the river, just a few blocks away from...

The hotel is a quite simple, charming, and nice hotel. Comfortable rooms, beautiful location by the river, parking and friendly staff. We stayed one night, where able to get very good prices and had a nice breakfast.

Had a upper-floor room with a great view over the river, which I would recommend requesting (unless you don't want to climb up a few flights of stairs). Cool rugged feel with wooden decorations. Staff was mostly helpful. Breakfast was poor, with no real coffee (only Nescafe) and powder eggs that often ran out.

We chose it because its cheaper than the hotel next door and we were only staying one night. It is an old hotel and could use some deep cleaning and painting. The mattress should be replaced, it is old and our backs suffered. Breakfast is OK, no real coffee though, only powdered coffee. Room could be cleaner, bathroom had hairs...

The hotel building is an old but very nice and well kept construction. It need some work done (like the elevator) and the bathtub. The service was not very good, as we didn't have our room cleaned and the front desk manager was not very keen in helping us when needed. Breakfast is alright, but they do not offer real...

This place is definitely for the college student on a shoe string holiday budget. The tiny room, bare bones furnishing including hard foam rubber pillows, very basic breakfast of extremely poor quality food left a great deal to be desired. No English is spoken. There was a glimpse of the river if you pressed your face against the window frame....

Great location next to the river, very close to the city centre and with some great restaurants just along the street. Hotel itself is good, rooms clean and spacious. Breakfast buffet also very good, and much wider choice than other places I've stayed in Chile. However, on the negative, I had no hot water either day I was there and...

I slept on a tired old mattress that felt like it had a mountain range underneath it. The other bed in the room had only a foam mattress. The window blinds failed to stop the street lights bathing the room with bright light - all night. Tour groups seem to like this place - and when groups are there, other...

Spent two nights in a nice room with a terrace overlooking the river. We took the river tour and saw some great birds (20 or so) and really beautiful fishing boats. Room was cosy and quiet. Good wi-fi and some English TV. Good value. Nice breakfast room with included breakfast. Staff were great. Secure parking in the back.
