Got to Pucon which was awash with participants in the IronMan contest. The hotel had been booked in advance so we had a place to sleep at the Malalhue which is quaint, wood lined rooms and comfortable public room. It is comfortable walk from the center of town so it is very quiet and we slept with the window open....

Had two nights here while exploring the Chilean Lake District. Things started well, we arrived late (we were caught in a traffic light failure in Villarrica and a complete 30km road rebuild on one section) and were greeted by a very pleasant night porter and the restaurant provided decent pizzas at late notice. However our "non-smoking room" stank of stale...

No lift but our guide took the luggage up to the first floor. Good size bedroom with plenty of hot water. Reasonable buffet style breakfast with the option of scrambled eggs. Very generous measures when taking the second glass of whiskey in the evening. Home cooked style of food which suited us. Quite happy to cook lunch when we returned...

This place is fine overall. Our room was definitely on the small side and there wasn't much storage space for luggage etc. Wifi was patchy and intermittent so not really much point having it. One night we ate in the hotel which was fine and decent value, although there are better places for dinner in the town centre. Location is...

The building and the rooms were great, lots of wood and very comfortable. The hotel is quite a long walk from town and restaurants so not recommended for non-walkers. The staff were efficient but not especially friendly and not much English was spoken. Reasonable breakfast. The hotel is used by groups and seems to be more geared up to them....

Stayed here 1 night in the middle of the week and was almost the only guest in the hotel which gave us a strange feeling altogether. The hotel is located 10-15 min walk from the center on the main toad to town. The weather at the time of our stay was very warm and the room was tiny and located...

S39°16.755' W71°57.491' this chalet style hotel is a 10-minute walk from the city centre of Pucón on a busy road. Our room 101 on the ground floor next to the hotel entrance in December 2014 was comfortable with an excellent bed and good bathroom. The room includes television and a safe, no fridge. The room was well maintained and clean....

Stayed 3 nights. Rooms were clean but small. The hotel is about 10 to 15 minutes walk to the town center. English at front desk is limited so it helps to have some Spanish. The wi-if was good and free. Ordered a toasted cheese and ham sandwich which took over an hour to come. I feel that maintenance maybe an...

On our arrival we were greeted with a total lack of interest. Hard to believe that this hotel is used by large tour operators. You would think that the staff would be more welcoming. Our room, which we had to find for ourselves, was an average size but to the side of the building and hence quite close to the...

“Room on the backyard is quietest. Stipulate if you want a double bed, otherwise you may get two single beds in a small room.”
