Stayed for 2 nights, the place itself is nice and clean with good facilities and the staff are also really nice. It's definitely not a backpacker place though everyone in our room was a lot older and not sociable. You're also not aloud any alcohol...More
It's right next to Rochor MRT and a very short walk to Little India. The location is basically perfect. Apart from that it's just somewhere to sleep. It's really clean, showers are great (and hot), there's free coffee and the Wi-Fi is really good.
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly coloured saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colourful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers,
fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Centre, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colourful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
