I booked this place as I did not want to pay the incredible sums demanded in Singaporean Hotels. This place sounded ok but it the rooms are really small & without a window. For 3 people there was a double mattress on the floor & a mezzanine style double mattress on top. Not much else in the way of floor...

Located in the heartland of Singapore but close to MRT. Will take you 20mins to get anywhere interesting. Accomodation was basic and far less glamorous than the photos on the web site - It is an old house in a side street off a busy road that they have converted into tiny rooms. Very noisy if you stay in the...

This place is one of the biggest letdowns i've had the displeasure of staying in, they charged me an extra 30 dollars for early checkin, even though i requested assistance 5 days earlier . Once in i realise the photos are cleverly portrayed , as the room barley fits the bed let alone your baggage , and for the price in...

Reading through the reviews on here I was a little confused. While we didn't experience any ground breaking differences from other guests we thought it was good overall. We arrived in Singapore late and the GH we had orginally booked was rubbish so we scrambled and found this on the net. At 9pm at night we thought we were stuck...

First, allow me to state that this is my first stay in a hostel. I expected comforts you might find in a standard hotel. I found Cynthia (one of the owners) to be professional and friendly in our interactions. In the end, i chose to change to a hotel on Orchard road for the rest of my vacation. What i...

Nice, cozy, homely and kind of odd place. More of a Bed and breakfast than a hostel, but never the less a nice place to stay. Clean and neat and I like the idea that its actually in the house of the owners. Close to the MRT and relativly close to the Changi airport (app. 25 S$) and much cheaper...

The room had no window was the size of a cupboard we had to stand on the bed, sorry mattress on the floor, to open the folding door. The toilet is so small my husband could hardly fit to sit down. The showers are very small and one of the cats had defacated in it. It is expensive for a cupboard...

We arrived at this hostel around 10am after 3 days of travel we were smelly and in real need of sleep/shower. We had contacted them to organise an early check in to which they replyed that this would be no problem - just to get breakfast at the airport and make our way out. On arrival we were made to...

One Florence Close was a great place to stay! Clean, safe, pretty haven to return home to after a long day out. Although not right smack in the town center, it is a 3 mins walk to Kovan MRT station which is on the same line as everywhere that you would want to go. Rooms are cozy, self-sufficient, and air-conditioned,...

We were on the last leg of our year long round the world trip, when we came across this article on Guardian's website: http://www.guardian.co.uk/travel/2008/jan/29/designer.hostels?page=2 and decided to make a booking. Wow we're so happy we did so! We were very impressed - we have stayed in alot of places over the last year + this is by far the nicest,...
