Great stop over hotel on route to Australia. 20 mins drive from the airport with a pre-booked transfer which was extremely efficient. The hotel is right in the middle of the shopping district. Our room was good, quiet and clean with a large comfortable bed and great black out curtains. The room had a kettle and plenty of tea/coffee etc and provided toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and moisturiser. The shower could have been better - it was the old fashioned style with an arm attached attached to a pipe , which kept slipping down and falling off on the odd occasion - but it was OK. We would certainly stay here again.

A great location and a great hotel. We stayed 3 nights here and loved it. We had club access which was fantastic. The roof top pool and bar were amazing. The staff were good and the room was comfortable and very clean. It was a bit noisey as the room next door was being renovated but we were not really in there during the day. The buffet breakfast was one of the best I have seen. Great food and service. Would definitely stay here again as it was a one minute walk to Orchard rd and easy access to all the Singapore sights

I stayed here for 2 nights in November 2023. Taxi from the airport at noon was S$23 which I thought was a good deal. The lobby is on the 10th floor. Check-In was seamless and easy. My room was clean, did not smell, and the bed was very comfortable. The TV was crisp and has HBO channels. The bathroom has the usual amenities (except it's a shampoo and conditioner 2-in-1, so bring your own conditioner) and they use MALIN+GOETZ products. I didn't have meals at the hotel because the property is attached to a mall and is in a good spot on Orchard Street. The pool didn't get crowded during my stay and was a nice and relaxing. The only issue I had wasn't the hotel's fault. There's a park across the street and has a festival (I think every weekend) with blaring music until 10pm. Bring earplugs if you sleep early and will stay on a Saturday or Sunday night.…

Thanks for a fantastic stay! This hotel - part of the Shangri La group - is ideally located right above Somerset MRT station on Orchard Road and has a stunning rooftop terrace and infinity pool with incredible city views. I'd definitely recommend paying the premium, if possible, and opt for a Club Room, which provides access to the 19th floor lounge for breakfast and a two hour slot in the evening for food and drinks. The breakfast was a real treat with a rotating, a la carte menu of Asian, Western and Healthy options. Special thanks to Jeraldine for being so efficient, welcoming and friendly! (Evenings in the Club Room were fine but could get crowded and noisy with big groups.) We were given a Panoramic View Room - really spacious and well-designed. Like all Singapore hotels, the laundry is extortionate, so head to the Cuppage Plaza Centre, 2 mins from the hotel, and drop your stuff in to Laundry Day. Ran by a lovely old Chinese couple who did a bag-full of clothes overnight for the same price as cleaning one shirt in the hotel.…

Average hotel. It's definitely not what I expected for a Lux Premium hotel. The hotel entrance on 10th floor is very average - dont expect any razzle dazzle or porters. Firstly, thankyou to Reza at the ground floor entrance - so helpful and always cheerful and smiling. We stayed 6 nights in a club room package. The club was one of the lower standard clubs I have experienced. Nice views, comfy chairs but very busy during canape evening offerings. Alcohol inclusions on offer were poor and limited. The pool - stunning view. Shame we weren't aware prior to booking that the bar area was being refurbished. Should be finished very soon and will look amazing once done! Bar staff were awesome - thankyou for making our pool breaks a fun adventure! Room was adequate. Be warned! The rooms categories are all different layouts within the same category, we had an open bathroom with no enclosed areas to bedroom and very small basin benchtops. Not enough room for 2 female adults ;) Pillows and beds are very comfy. Room service was a great novelty! Jeni the robot delivered our food relatively quickly. Food was adequate, wasnt amazing but wasnt terrible either. Location is fantastic for shopaholics! Great shops in Orchardgateway, 313 Somerset and Orchard Central. MRT Somerset in very close proximity and easy to use. Christmas in Orchard Road is magical. I would stay again but if wanting a room with club benefits, I would stay somewhere else. 3.5 stars as a club room rating. 4 stars if staying without club is a fair rating based on all my previous hotel stays. Great location above the Somerset MRT with incredible views from the rooftop pool. Rooms were large, clean and well equipped. Breakfast was lovely and we appreciated our take away breakfast with an early flight departure. The only drawback was that the pool area was quite noisy. On the road below there was some sort of karaoke amphitheater, construction work to the bar area, and then aqua aerobics morning lessons. Something to keep in mind if you are expecting some quiet relaxation time poolside.

What a gem of a hotel! Perfectly located on Orchard Road with the MRT an easy walk away! We stayed on the 13th Floor in a Panoramic Club room.. the view was great and the access to the Club Lounge a definite recommendation! The service was impeccable and special mention to our Housekeeper and Javier in the Club Lounge. the Pool is ridiculously amazing and was never over crowded and always clean. Thank you for a wonderful stay - we will definitely return!

An odd one. Yes, the hotel is in a great location and is beautifully clean and the staff are fantastic BUT the food is dire. Am not sure why some guests rave about the breakfasts. It is pretty poor quality but there is lots of it. It is amazing to see how much people will eat! Do not eat the food by the pool area. It is horrendous. Brace yourselves for guests swimming fully clothed and lounging in pyjamas at breakfast and by the pool. The pool could be great but there was a lot of building work going on as lots of the decking is rotten. Luxury it is not.

Great pool and staff! Allowed us to stay and use the rooftop bar due to our flight leaving at midnight. Made for a relaxed enjoyable time whilst waiting for a check in. The breakfast buffet was phenomenal with heaps of variety!!!

Decided for a staycation with Hotel Jen Orchard Gateway in Singapore for the Deepavali long weekend. The first thing that impressed me with this hotel is the cleanliest that I felt so much comforting. Booked a room with the Club Lounge access. Had a great experience during my stay. Staff were friendly as well. Tried their semi-buffet dinner at the Makan restaurant. Large variety of options for the main course to choose from. Food was pretty appetizing too. As for the view, this is the best part. Hotel Jen Orchard Gateway has its own infinity pool at the roof top with a stunning view, not losing to MBS. From their pool view, you can see the view of the MBS hotel and downtown area. If you were at their Club Lounge, you can see the whole stretch of Orchard Road ranging from Shaw House right down to Plaza Singapura. Can you imagine how high you need to be in order to see this.
