Definitely worth visiting! I would like to especially commend one of their staff, Mirza, who took good care of us throughout the entire dinner and even gave us complimentary desserts! Good ambience, Great food, Excellent service!!
Level 4 carpark was being used as a renovating area, which is on the dusty side. Carpark is interlinked by hospital as well as hotel, difference is just the lift lobbies. Ms Harmony checked us in. Pleasant club lounge managed by Mr Malek on L18, not big but tastefully done up. Housekeeper kept our rooms clean. Skyline studios very spacious & modern. Lovely big bathroom with well stocked amenities. Poolside seating & Olympic-sized pool was enjoyable. Very breezy. The gym is well equipped and huge, unfortunately was closed. Do call to check first if you have intention to use it. We dined at Escape by poolside as the club lounge was closed for an event for a week and the plastic chairs there made it so uncomfortable. We ended up sitting by the pool. Finger food for evening canapés were uninteresting. Coffee & teas were the best there. No cocktails. Just beer, one kind of white/red wine, few bottles of alcohol. Go out for food as it was nothing substantial. Club lounge offerings were very limited & not exactly what we expected. Staff were very friendly & helpful. …
We were served by Ayu. We had Australian Tajima Beef Topside and Locally Farmed Miso Barramundi. Both dishes are superb. Between the two, I would choose the barramundi as I am impressed by the taste of the skin which is similar to unagi. The fish complements well with the risotto. You have the option of having the meal beside the pool or inside the air-conditioned restaurant. We had these dishes at 40% off the price using Eatigo.
An enjoyable staycation at One Farrer Hotel Skyline Room. Comfortable room with spectacular skyline view. Love the food at Skyline Lounge, coupled with great service from the staff. Would especially like to commend Malek and Wan Yee for their dedication and professionalism in not just doing their duty, but going the extra mile all the time in attending to every guests' needs and wants at the lounge, allowing us to have a wonderful experience dining at the lounge. Despite the hectic dining schedules during the peak periods over CNY, both of them remain positive and are jovial and cheerful, yet attentive to the hotel guests' customised needs and choices. They are very dedicated and efficient in serving the guests, and exude high professionalism throughout. They are often seen guiding the newer staff well with their experience in the F&B line, definitely great mentors to these staff. Truly commendable spirit of excellence for such staff in the service industry. We hope to be back at the hotel again for the wonderful facilities and service. :)…
We ordered the Thai fusion salad, laksa, miso barramundi and chicken sticks. The laksa is phenomenal! Service is good and the Thai salad is very unique! Will definitely come back again and try the other food in the menu.
