Deluxe room small but clean and well equipped, fridge, safe, TV and bathroom. On the southern edge of China Town so plenty of eateries close by. Did not check out how close was the MRT train station but if close as other reviewer stated that makes this hotel very good value indeed. Staff friendly and helpful. Particularly for short stay... Nice hotel in historical building in great China Town. Room is not big but there was all we needed, everything was clean and comfy. The best part of the hotel is its location. China Town is a great place to stay. It is the place to visit itself and you can spend around many hours exploring its cute streets. But... More

Staff are helpful. Location is near to mrt station. It was all perfect. You dont need to tell the housekeepers to clean your room; they know it already. No so much choices for breakfast but its enough. One thing for this hotel is the location of mrt station which will take you anywhere in the city even in the airport.... More

Do not expect luxuries. Located in one of the most vibrant streets in Chinatown is literally walking distance from all foo eateries, bars, clubs etc. Interior is renovated. Small hotel with a colonial style facade like all buildings on the same street. Customer service very friendly. I requested a spacious room and in the upper floors and they provided it... More

just only one night stay but so impressive vintage atmosphere around the hotel, many renovated old style buildings give you a nice charming photo and also some chic-retro bar & restaurant with few steps from hotel's door is a bonus! by the way, this area look better than noisy Chinatown. For those who need a cool place for hang-out at... More

I hv mixed feelings about this hotel. On the one hand, I love that it was converted old shoplots - cozy and quaint. The interiors are modern, good friendly front desk staff, the free simple snack bar with coffee is a wonderful idea. I hv a deluxe double room, decently sized, with all the necessary amenities including a hairdryer. The... More

This hotel is situated in Chinatown and easy to find and nearby metro stations. The hotel is neat, modern but there are some things that could be better. We paid the price for staying with breakfast. There were almost no options for breakfast, just bread, eggs and drinks. Also when it rained, rain fell into the bathroom. WiFi could be... More

One night stay. Was alright.. Rooms and toilet were clean... Old school deco along the halls and doors.. Check in was fairly simple.. Located at a good locations as there is plenty of mini bars and food stalls that run late..

A nice little hotel close to the hustle and bustle of Chinatown. The staff were extremely polite and helpful, and were available whenever we needed them. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. Overall we were very happy here.

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
