I’m glad that Changi Cove’s management keeps a keen eye on reviews here & improve on things. An example will be the enhancement of the lighting of the stairs connecting lobby-level2-incubatorlevel since Nov 2020. I remember Ryan & Liping of the restaurant from my previous stay. Both were great. Ryan in particular has improved categorically in his work. Well done. Unfortunately, the chef is a lazy mutt who messed up my keto diet request by a large margin in spite of notifying them weeks in advance. There’s simply no excuse. He tried to pull the fleece by saying he google researched. Kitchen crew in other ways, give the evil eye to service crew when the latter try to go out of the way to give diners stellar service. Either shape up kitchen crew, or, dump them.

Just like others, we were also tired of staying locked at home and not being able to travel. This gave us a good opportunity to get out and have fun. Highly recommended if you are on a budget, which some of us are.

We have booked 2 nights at Changi Cove - a standard room. Cons: 1) The standard room do not come with mini fridge. Personally all rooms should have mini fridge as to cater all guests as this is a 4 Stars hotel. 2) The bed was soft and the blanket cover was rather thick and rough. 3) You will have to run the water for quite awhile before we get hot shower. 4) The lock has an issue. It does not allow the door to lock automatically. Chamber maid/ Staff took thing for granted. They did not check the door was lock before leaving the premises. We left for our activity at 6am and found out our room was not lock when we came back from activity at around 5pm. It really makes me wonder if we can trust the security in this hotel. Front desk did not come back to us on any updates after security checking on the CCTV. Dropped an email and no response yet. 5) Front desk officer dont seem to look friendly and helpful. Maybe due to understaffed and tired.? 6) Breakfast - The taste is so so and not much choices given. 7) Distance - Kind of out of the way. 8) It is a 4 stars hotel, however I feel like it is like a budget hotel. Pros: 1. Unique - The room comes with doodle wall that allows to write/draw. It may keeps the occupants occupied. 2. Security Guard - Friendly and helpful 3. Nice greenery surrounding.

Nice hotel with many greenery at the surrounding. As I was a light sleeper, I've requested for a room that was tucked at the way to the end of the corridor. It was very quiet although it was on a weekend. Thanks to the receptionist for this arrangement. Breakfast was provided by the hotel, simple meals thou not that fantastic. Do bring your own bicycles if you plan to move around and explore the changi coastal area. There are places within the hotel to lock your bicycles. We cycled to 555 Villa Thai at Loyang to game our Thai mookata dinner. Price of the moikata is a little on the high side, as compared to the market rate. However, you pay for the ambience. Able to see the flights taking off and landing while having your dinner.

Location was not really fun as there is not much to do even tried to go to the beach but was blocked by fences. Staff at the reception looks dead and not welcoming and the one wearing the polo t should tuck in his shirt and check his name tag was placed properly. Staff is either overworked (saw the guy Leonard from I check in till checkout) or just not right to be in the service industry but we paid not to get treated like we owe them money. Food overpriced for laksa and mini samosa. $175 comes with no fridge and remote that is spoiled even ants on the rug. Will not recommend to spend here as there are other places worth your money that I have visited as seems like a budget hotel worth $90. This is my honest opinion and will not come again.
