We stayed four nights in a Deluxe Double Room. The hotel is in a heritage building which retains a lot of character; this also means that the rooms are somewhat cosy and the bathroom cramped. Having said that, it was quiet, the room was clean and the staff were friendly. Easy access to Rochor MRT station. A sound choice on...

The Bedroom here is the smallest ever room we have stayed in as a couple. It is certainly smaller than the smallest cabin in a cruise. Everything is small here. The toilet is the tiniest we have ever had. We arrived at Singapore Airport without a booking and were helped to book by Hotel Reservations Counter. It was quite pricey...

Stayed here with my husband for 4 nights in August. 2016. Got a welcome fresh orange juice which was perfect because I was thirsty. The hotel is located in about 100 meters of the nearest MRT station. few minutes walk to Indian Herittage Center or Little India. Tikka market, Sriveeramakaliamman Temple on Sarangoon road. Lots of delicious food. We enjoyed...

We stayed for 7 days at this place. Rooms are tight but with space for clothes. Fixed carpet on the floor in the room invites to wear flip-flops. Food is fresh and tasty. Staff very helpful anytime. Family friendly.

As soon as you step out onto the footpath you are in India. With all the colour, interest, friendly faces, markets, fruits, vegetables etc. May not suit someone who wants sterile environment, but we loved the vibrancy of the area.

Stayed here 5 nights in October. Booked a single room but got a double room, which was a nice surprise. Got a welcome OJ on arrival, which was much appreciated. Hotel located within about 100m of the nearest MRT so really easy to get out and about, and a short walk to the main street of Little India. There is...

We had a most pleasant 2-night-stay at the Perak Hotel. Great location in Little India right next to the Rochor MRT. Many dining options in walking distances. Friendly and welcoming staff, clean and comfortable rooms, freshly made breakfast.

Stayed at Perak hotel for a week. Very nice hotel with neat and clean rooms. Though the rooms are small in size, but is just enough for business travellers. Moreover the location of this hotel is very nice. First the hotel is located on the edge of Little India, thus not in the main congested and noisy place. Secondly, it...

If you want a cheaper hotel in expensive Singapore, this is quite a good place. Very small, but clean rooms, reasonably quiet, good breakfast, friendly service. I don't understand, why they want 100 $ deposit, if you have paid for the room, I refused to pay it and got away with it or they forgot about it.

I visited in August, suprisingly it is in National week, so the price was quite expensive. I was really confused of the deposit about 100$ after you checked in. The customer service is really good, the staff is very nice and always welcome you to ask and ready to serve you any time. The price is also include the breakfast...

Staying in Little India

Neighbourhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly coloured saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colourful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Centre, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colourful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
