Stayed at this distinctive hotel on recent stopover between Australia & Europe. I chose it because of it's location, pool and buffet breakfast offering, all of which didn't disappoint. Location was great for us - walking distance to Clarke & Boat Quay, Chinatown & Merlion & MRT. If walking isn't your thing or it's too hot, taxis are plentiful and the concierge was great for calling them. Service was excellent - checkin and checkout faultless , restaurant staff very friendly and helpful. Room was lovely with a great view on the 8th floor, very modern with large king size bed. Good amenties. Used the pool several times, not huge but never had trouble finding space, nobody stays all day so not overcrowded. Breakfast had a great range of food - western, asian, everything you could want. Ate bar snacks as well...very good. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend and stay again.

The hotel location is at Chinatown, central and convenient to go around Singapore, where abundance of good foods are available nearby. The first thing that draw us to the hotel is the exterior and interior design of the hotel, where it's design in a very nice and zen manner. A nice breather in midst of busy city.
Service was excellent, the staffs are friendly and helpful. The hotel cleanliness is also top notch. The design of the room is very elegant and minimalist, which focus seems to be on more of wooden and eco layout. This design gives a very relaxing feels, especially after a long day of activity.
The breakfast is amazing and has a very good variety. Really amaze by the pick your own herb for your salad counter. The chocolate muffin was really good as well, it filled with a surprise (a very good one, if you like sweet stuff like me).
We believed that the hotel, room, staffs and services have been very exceptional. Easily one of the best hotel we have stayed in Singapore, will definitely come back and recommend our friends and family to stay at this hotel.

My first stay was in April 2021, we booked a signature room #837 (room only with a cooking class), I paid $400+/night, a big clean spacious room, the mini bar was empty, I feel the selection of tea was too basic, yellow label lipton tea. With the rate that spent, I hope the management could look into a better quality of tea and of course a filled fridge, a few items will be good.
My second stay, we reserved 2 collection rooms on club floor #1335 n #1336 with Wanderlust service, each room night is $668, rooms were cleaned, bright. Mini bar again empty!! A little disappointing! Selection of tea was good, TWG, as we were on club floor. Only down side there is no coffee table. As we were a party of 4, we would like a little gathering at night in room and have a few drinks, without a coffee table, it's kind of inconvenient.
We approached James in the main lobby, we asked if we could get 1 coffee table in one of our room, he quickly checked with Housekeeping , regret that there isn't any spare coffee table. He took an extra step to check with banquet and managed to got us one. We deeply appreciated his effort of doing so!
We attended a wine tasting class conducted by Wan, he is very knowledgeable. Since we had shown our interest in cocktail mixology, he taught us a few cocktail to our liking and wrote down the recipe for our reference.
During our stay, we really feel that we are welcome! Greeted by everyone, check in experience... be it along the corridor, lift, waitering staff and chef at Collection lounge and Lime....Big thanks!

while I was enjoying my drink and breakfast in Collection Lounge, 2 different waitering ladies had spilled the champagne while using the serving tray, as I was in this industry before, I realized the way they hold the tray was somehow improper, maybe some training should be provided.
the food that served in Collection Lounge were not hot. During cocktail hour, the fried cheese stick and mini pizza was in a warmer but it was simply not warm at all. For breakfast, though the fried noodles was kept in a slow cooker, it was really lukewarm only, the chicken wing, sausage , bacon, pastries, croissants were simply cold as the whole lounge was air conditioned. Please look into it. When the food is suppose to be hot, please serve hot.
Please do look into the mini bar matter. Again, thank you for the service, I hope to really enjoy some hot food when I go back again.

We stayed here for 3 nights in a superior room. The room was a decent size and all wood panelling and not many light fittings which seemed to mean it was permanently dark. Even it’s the blinds open during the day it was dark.
The room servicing was again ok. We had a bath mat for the shower on the first day, but that disappeared and we didn’t get another. Fortunately they forgot to take one of the towels so we used that. The toilet is very dark. You really needed to leave the sliding door open, but couldn’t if you had the blind open as anyone walking down the walkway (external) to rooms could see in.
The included breakfast was quite good, but it did feel like they were struggling to replenish things on day 3, when ironically it seemed least busy.
Coffee and tea making facilities were provided in the room as was bottled water. However, the bottles were glass so you couldn’t take them put with you.
The pool and spa area looked nice although we didn’t get chance to use it.
Location was reasonably good with only a 10minute walk to boat quay where most of the restaurants and bars seemed to be.
Would I stay here again if I went back to Singapore? No. Not for me I’m afraid. Certainly didn’t feel 5 stars and I didn’t like the dark rooms

“Our journey with PRP Started with Sales coordinator Joelyn where she gave us great service and a clean & clear explaination of what the hotel can offer us. Even up till the moment she left, she did provide us reassurance on what we were promised and we were handed over to the next sales coordinator in a proper manner.
Andrea appeared to be very young and lively but we were worried that she was not experienced enough at the beginning. But our fears were slowly replaced by assurance as she was detailed meticulous and responsive to our queries, gave us timely reminders leading up to our big day. She was there at every juncture and took note of all my requests, and even when we were closing up to the actual day, she went through our AD timeline and offered to prepare tea for us for my Tea ceremony at the hotel. On top of that she was there when we had a hell lot of things to bring in the day before my wedding, arrange the bell boy to bring our things up to our room. All done swiftly and our rooms all ready and prepared. Small words of concern and various arrangements to help us tide through this huge event. Im really thankful to have her around, plus she had so many sweet gestures that I really appreciate.
Last but not least, our wedding coordinator Andrew. Before I met him personally, I have already read many good reviews about him online but he was the WOW factor throughout this entire wedding. Before the dinner banquet begin, he was there very early to oversee the staff, making sure things were good, AV and all that to rehearse with my husband. During the cocktail timing, he was there to reconfirm various details and took measures to make sure that we started the dinner on time. Taking into consideration many small details, his service was impeccable and not to mention he was even there to calm me down as I was feeling nervous during the first march in.
Even after the dinner ended, he was there to continue serve drinks to our guests and brought up our food to the room very promptly. I enjoyed the food thoroughly in the comfort of my hotel room, and had a great time with my guests. He was the reason why my guests were well take care of, food was served hot and needs were all met. I can go on and on to praise him but we just want to say a big thank you to Andrew for doing such a great job. He was probably the reason why I can enjoy my wedding dinner properly as he took care of almost everything else. Thank you for the excellent job done as we sincerely appreciate all the help rendered to us on our wedding day.

Our recent stay at this hotel was just amazing. We realise it is a hard time around the world and many industries (particularly travel) are being hit hard but the staff didn’t show any of that and were extremely friendly and attentive. We felt safe with temperature screening for all incoming guests and hand sanitizers placed everywhere.
We are a family of 4 (2 kids 7 and 5) and found the junior suite suited our needs. We had the bedroom while the kids used the lounge area which had a sofa bed and there was a sliding door if needed to separate the 2 areas. Views of the hanging gardens and city from our room were just spectacular. Particularly at night.
The pool area was lovely and we enjoyed walking past the little herb garden.
The location was superb. So close to the Chinatown MRT station and food markets within walking range. Having the Chinapoint shopping centre was so convenient with endless dining options.
I honestly can’t fault this place and we look forward to visiting again during better times.

Let's talk about the good things first.
I do love the concept and design of the hotel which made me felt relaxed even though the location is in the city.
Simply adores the high ceiling with tons of natural lights in the Junior Suite during my stay. The bed and pillows were comfortable (I guess that's one of the basic stuff for such property right?).
They have installed the drinking water filter in the bathroom which saves time to keep calling for drinking water.
In Room Dining food I would say it was decent but nothing to WOW about despite the price you're paying.
Breakfast/ Afternoon Tea/ Evening Cocktails at the executive lounge was great.
Massage at St. George Spa was relaxing too, all thanks to my therapist Ms. Siti that made my experience a great one!
Despite the above, my stay would be a much more enjoyable one if the following didn't took place.
1. Upon Arrival
The moment I stepped out of my taxi, there was a gentleman who approached and assisted to bring my luggage/bags out from the car boot. I overheard his conversation with the driver and found out that he was enquiring if the driver is available as his guests needs a ride. After the driver informed him that he has another booking, the hotel staff turned and walked back towards the front desk without assisting to bring my stuff to the main lobby for check-in. His actions has caught me by surprise. What a way to start my 1st impression!
2. Room Service
Requested for ice bucket on the day of check-out.
Called twice and waited for more than 30 minutes but it never came.
3. DND
I appreciate the gesture of complimentary amenities but the room's DND was turned on during the time of delivery. Staff was ringing the door bell and knocking on the door when my partner was resting.
I guess it is either the DND sign was faulty or the staff lack of training.
4. St. George Spa
I felt everything was so transactional when I called down + spoke to the spa receptionist in person.

This staycation was absolutely fantastic. Due to my GHA Black status, I was instantly given early check in and late check out. With the 6pm late check out, it provided extra time to fully enjoy the facilities. I was able to take my time in the gym and stroll around the area without the rush of checking out.
The “green” theme is very prominent in this hotel and shows in the multiple plants decorating many areas of the hotel. When you walk into the hotel, you see plants. The entire gym and pool floor is adorned with plants and you can even take a “nature walk” around the floor admiring all the different plants. To access our room, we walked through an open air corridor also adorned with plants. This hotel would please any nature lover. The green theme is also shown in the room with glass bottles instead of plastic bottles. Some hotels take the green theme too far and turn it into a cost cutting exercise but not this one. I counted at least 6 glass bottles of water in the room. Toiletries are still provided in plastic bottles but I think it is more for hygiene reasons than anything else.
The highlight of the stay was the Club Lounge. The place was Brilliant! Friendly and accommodating staff. There was one tiny hiccup though. It seems that the lounge is closed for breakfast on weekdays. No one mentioned this on check in so I went up to an empty and locked lounge. When I went back down to Lime Restaurant, I was instantly ushered to my table without much of a wait. Despite having breakfast in the main restaurant, the staff made an effort to recognise Club guests and still provided champagne despite not being in the club lounge. They do this by seating Club guests separately from non-club guests. So if you are a club guest staying on a weekday be sure to double check you are seated at the right area!
Apart from breakfast, Club guests enjoy afternoon tea and evening cocktails. I loved that the afternoon tea sets came in proper three tiered stands. The food was properly presented and of high quality. The evening cocktails was my favourite though. The food served was alright, but the highlight was the cocktails. They probably served one of the most extensive cocktails menu I have seen on my staycations so far. They even served Aperol Spritz, which is quite rarely served in local hotel club lounges.
All in all, a fine staycation with great food and drinks, personable and professional staff, and a unique garden hotel within a garden city. This is now one of my favourite hotels for staycation! Can’t wait to be back!

Stayed a night at this hotel with friends.
The location is fantastic, within walking distance to CBD and also Chinatown, where the mouth watering Hawker Centre is just behind the hotel building, many claims to have Michelin titles under their arsenal. The long queuing time does speak volume... The Outram Park Fried Kuay Teow, Da Hua Minced Pork Noodle, Curry Chicken Noodle just to name a few.
I love the architectural design of the building, very unlike Singapore. Green and unique, gives you the soothing and tranquil feel everywhere you go.
The room is generally OK, lack of WOW Factor since you have been wow with the exterior, you want to be wow with the interior too.
Size is typical with 30 odd sqm, Bed is comfy but the TV is so small in my opinion. The day night curtains are electronically powered, easy to manuvre. The bathroom is semi open concept, no bathtub but it is ok for me.
A small little pouch with hand Sanitizer, wet wipes and mask as a welcome gift, very thoughtful indeed.
The Swimming pool is picturesque, but you can get the sun only in the morning due to its facing. The "Bird Cage" is certainly one of the highlight. Gym is pretty decent as well, located on the same floor. There is a good branded spa St Gregory, but I didn't use.
The disappointment part is the Breakfast (which is included in the package) and the buffet dinner which I paid additional. The breakfast spread is so little, compared to other PPHG group of hotels, for instance Pan Pacific Singapore which I tried recently as well. I requested for an Espresso during Breakfast, to my surprise only long black is available?As for the buffet dinner, it was a disappointment too. Most likely it is the pricing issue. You charge little, you offer little. Period. Parkroyal Collection on Pickering food option is really pale in comparison with her peers in this regards.
They can certainly do better, with Mr. Choe helming the CEO position, soon this will be improved without a doubt. I am very confident and I am so looking forward to staying with them again in the near future. Understand that during Covid, there are many trials and errors, and perhaps they are try to find the sweet spot, I hope they can nail it soon.
I still give them a 5 star review, but I expect a better quality of food in the near future when I return.
