It's a quite nice hostel but more expensive than other hostels. I think there should be more focus on the essential things, for example the lobby was beautiful but there was no toilet paper or soap in the bathroom.

Check in and check out very quick and easy. I've requested for a lower bunk because I sprained my ankle recently and they are kind enough to place me on lower bunk and near the door. The bed is clean and spacious enough for average Asian female build. It has a small table, safety locker, blanket, 2 pillows, bath towel....

Opted to stay at this facility for 3 nights last weekend( march 2017) as it was close to the venue of the conference that I was attending . I opted for the all female sleeping "suite". The interior design observed at the general areas befits a boutique hotel;tasteful and comfortable. The general amenities (showers and toilets ) were relatively clean...

There are two dorm room buildings. The newer one is really good. A 12 feet high ceiling, and a 6 feet wide aisle. A group of young girls just came in after a long flight, I only noticed a very slight feet odor. Thanks for the big sunny dorm room. There is also a big balcony with city view.

I stayed at the Adler for 2 nights and I totally loved it!! I had an all females room for about 12 people and it worked out extremely well. Due to the very spacy beds and shelves/the locker for your belongings they really deserve the "luxury" in their name!! The bed was also very comfortable and the room had a...

I stayed at Adler with a friend for three nights. It's such a great place with the prime location opposite the Temples (Chineses and Indian temples) on the south bridge road. Bed is comfy but it'd much more better if the stairs will be not that straight, it's quite difficult to climb up to our bed. Staffs were completely wonderful....

If you don't want to pay the high prices for private rooms etc this is the perfect choice . Each bed has its own curtain a safe , plug sockets and shelves . It's more like a mini bedroom than a bunk . You all get given ear plugs to deal with any unwanted snoring noises ! Can't go wrong...

This is an excellent high end flashpacking hostel in Chinatown. It is near the mosque, easy to find from either Chinatown or Telok Ayer stations. Well signed. Plan on approximately one hour travel time from the airport, depending on train transfer times. You will probably have to change trains 3-4 times depending on the route you take. The hostel occupies...

Is this my 5th stay for the past 3 yrs????? Can't remember.... Adler still maintained her charm after all these time. Had never let me down and is and will be my default place to stay whenever I visit Singapore. Call it a home away from home. That's how comfortable I am with Adler. This eight nights stay is mainly...

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
