The rooms were clean: we took two private rooms with 6 beds as we were travelling with families and friends. The room on the ground floor was less convenient as it smelled moisture. But we spent two nights there without any issue with the wifi working fine also.

Great location - very close to Rochor MRT, next door to a popular local restaurant. The staff are helpful and professional. We stayed 1 night in a mixed dorm. All the rooms have an ensuite bathroom. Our bathroom could've been cleaner but the water pressure was great. Weirdly enough, I had shared the bottom bunk with a lady who seemed to...

I suggest that if you only look for a place to sleep in SG, you may try this Inn. Though wifi is really quick and impressive. Beds are a bit itchy. So bring your own bedsheet and pillowcases and blanket. Otherwise, dustmites will make you feel uncomfortable and itchy all the night.

The only good thing in this hostel is the situation. 18 SGP on weekdays and 21 SGP Weekends. You can find the same deal at Little Red Dot. This is not a real hostel, all of the guests I've seen are long term guests which created a weird atmosphere. I shared my room with 5 girls that kept on coming...

Since it is near 2 train stations and they have private toilet and cheapest Ive found in the net, I booked this 3 months ahead. The room as expected for a budget hotel is small and beds are not that comfortable (soft like waterbeds) like the last hotel weve been. One good thing, the private toilet is regular size and...

Great place for a family to stay. Conveniently located, only a few minutes walk from Little India. On suite in room which is nice and clean + 3 x single bunk beds. Well maintained rooms unlike other places we visited. You can rent bath towels for $10 each, on return you get 50% back. Has paid laundry service on 2nd...

We booked 'Lofi Inn' a few months ago for a budget family trip, and were surprised to find that on arrival that it no longer existed and had been taken over by 'Phil Inn'. It was a major let down. Facilities that had attracted us to it in the first place, like the rooftop bar, have gone. There's no breakfast....

Staying in Little India

Neighbourhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly coloured saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colourful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Centre, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colourful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
