The vibe here is simply retro! Love the fact they turned a war-era shophouse building into a hotel, fitted with classical posters and furniture that you usually see only on television. If you are looking for modern, this might not be the place for you. They have really good local food nearby as well as a lobby bar that serves...

An establishment can help itself by employing more welcoming and polite staff. Unfortunately this place has a long way to go. Rudeness and indifference to visitors leave a very poor impression, not just of the hotel but also of Singapore itself.

Hotel is pretty much far away from the centre of SG but if your’e prepared to catch a bus or transit every day then it’s fine (and Singapore travel passes are cheap). The hotel itself looks extremely poorly maintained and is the kind of place I would’ve stayed in as a student. The bedding wasn’t entirely clean and the staff...

If you like vintage chinese theme, I would like to recommend this one. A famous noodle stall located near the hotel, also the bus station. But the MRT station a little bit far away, maybe almost 1 kilometer.

It is a huge generous room. But lightings are all in yellow color. Find it difficult for me to read. The indication to rooms is not very clear.. too small to visual. In general, for those who lookout for huge space and affordable rate.

We were staying there only for one night before to get to Malaysia the next day. The hotel room was tiny, we were struggling to move into the room. I would not recommend this hotel if you stay more than one night. Bed covers and pillow were clean and the bed was comfortable and the conditioning was working perfectly. Staff...

I stayed at the Kam Leng hotel twice in 2012. It was in a good location, a small hotel with nice décor. Sadly the hotel has fallen into disrepair and I hope the management takes notice before it obtains more poor ratings. I booked six nights with my husband in Sept 2016, an Executive suite, very disappointed. The room are...

Highly recommended for a solo traveler. Also good for a short stay for family, long (if u just wanna come n sleep). Excellent Location and connectivity for public transport (SBT n MRT). Decent stay. A budget category hotel with traditional vintage interior (!).

no doubt the loby was nicely decorated with "hipster" yet "vintage" vibe . I was excited for the room and i did took lots of pictures . But once we got our room key , as we walk towards the lift , there's this staircase that gave us chills about it . We went up to the 2nd floor ....

Our stay was great. The price was really cheap if comparing to other same typed hotels around.Room size is quite small, but no problems with tiny Asians like us. Bed and pillows were comfy. Decoration is rather scary if you got back at night. Good location as near bus stations
