I stayed first time at Claremont Hotel on last October. Room was comfortable and moderate in size. The most attractive side is street view from the room. There is electronic security Locker inside the wall cabinet which is very helpful. The front desk staffs were very helpful according to my experience. Claremont Hotel is very good for the tourist or...

Everything is worst. Room not clean and first time we experienced Bed Bug bitten. Its so horrible. Breakfast is limited. Staff not responsive. Location is good for Bangladeshi, Indian and other South Asian tourists as you can find Mustafa Centre for shopping, native food restaurants, like Bangladeshi Muslim Restaurants, etc.

We booked this hotel for 3 people before going to our first trip to Singapore and little that know it was located in the busy district of Little India so you what you should expect is that you are somewhat like in India where you get to see and greet our Indian brothers in every corner of the place. The...

One of the worst hotels I've been to. Noisy, dirty, smelly. Terrible service accompanied by rude staff members. Breakfast was the only meal we had and it wasn't appetizing in any way or form. My suggestion would be to avoid this hotel and find a better alternative.

The place is affordable and in a good location, close to shopping and restaurants. No room service but the staff was friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi does not reach the rooms and TV does not have good programmes.

Hotel is average but services are terrible. Requested for room cleaning several times but response was same no one bothered to listen. Cockroges and flies are freely traveling in my room. Water leaking from top in washroom. Not properly maintained in place like Singapore.

It's an Indian version of a welfare hotel. Dirty, noisy, bad service, internet if i stand in the hall but great location and a bargain for Singapore! You decide. Is a cheap but crappy bed with no amenities worth the (low for Singapore) price?

Staying in Little India

Neighbourhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly coloured saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colourful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Centre, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colourful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
