Very poor and dirty rooms, cockroaches everywhere. Bathroom was fine aside from the broken tap handle. Our room was initially on the 3rd floor; it was so dirty we had to ask for another one. The bathroom ceiling was broken and leaking, the room floors were dirty (Idk why they only bothered refurbishing the bathroom and not the room tiles)...

Its a terrible hotel in a terrible condition.. the rooms were disastrous.. the bed and the mattress were just horrible and on top of that you can easily see two three insects roaming around in the room. So no need to go to the zoo. And of course don't rely much on the morning complimentary buffet. The only good thing...

Enjoyed my stay here as in Little India with all the bustle you would expect but this hotel is an oasis of calm. The nearest MRT station is Ferrar Park and it is easy to navigate around. Has clean and good rooms, bit on the small side, but very good value for Singapore.

Just on account of non availability of accommodation elsewhere in this area, we booked into this hotel. First impression was very bad. Very unclean frontage and dingy lobby area. A nice verandah in the front could have been transformed into a good sit out. But it was full of dust and debris with rusted iron chairs. Had to wait to...

I stayed first time at Claremont Hotel on last October. Room was comfortable and moderate in size. The most attractive side is street view from the room. There is electronic security Locker inside the wall cabinet which is very helpful. The front desk staffs were very helpful according to my experience. Claremont Hotel is very good for the tourist or...

Everything is worst. Room not clean and first time we experienced Bed Bug bitten. Its so horrible. Breakfast is limited. Staff not responsive. Location is good for Bangladeshi, Indian and other South Asian tourists as you can find Mustafa Centre for shopping, native food restaurants, like Bangladeshi Muslim Restaurants, etc.

We booked this hotel for 3 people before going to our first trip to Singapore and little that know it was located in the busy district of Little India so you what you should expect is that you are somewhat like in India where you get to see and greet our Indian brothers in every corner of the place. Staying in Little India

Neighbourhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly coloured saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colourful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Centre, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colourful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
