Here are my personal views of this hotel: Pros - cheap by singapore standards, staff was nice and helpful, clean and tidy beds, food is ok (although they served the same menu on two consecutive days of our stay), location is very good for joggers. Cons - location is a little bit far from the nearest mrt station and you...

I've stayed here several times due to the location of the place which is very near Orchard Road (walking distance - if you don't mind walking uphill back to the hotel). However as of late there has been a lot of other hostels/cheap hotels that are offering a more competitive price for about the same standards within reasonable locations. Personally...

I enjoyed staying in YWCA because of its location and size of the Room. Just enough for my Family. We also enjoyed the Buffet Breakfast with quite a number of choices, and very Asian.

This hotel got my boyfriend and I through our stay in Singapore, but I would not recommend it. The hot water lasted for 5 minutes, the rooms and hotel in general was just old.. from the carpets to the very bleak and simple rooms. What stands out the most, (which I hope does not happen often!), was that there was...

We recently stayed at the lodge for laneway music festival on 29 january 2011. The place is perfect location-wise as the festival was held in fort canning park which is a 5 minutes walk from the lodge. However, we had a terrible stay at the hotel. The hotel is over-priced for "budget" hotel. Room was very basic and outdated, the...

If you're planning to stay at the YWCA, keep your expectations modest and you'll be fine. Yes there was mustiness, rooms were basic, aircond was slightly wonky and breakfast was generous tho not 5 star, but you get what you pay for and it's good value in this part of the pricey city state. Location is great -situated just behind...

We spent 5 nights here in September 2010 and were really happy with the hotel. It was easy for us to book direct and online and we got the best price that way. The breakfasts were really good and set us up for a days travel. Room was quiet, pool was a welcome relief to the heat and the staff...

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We know it's a budget hotel, so we didn't expect much. Location is good since it is near Dhoby Ghaut MRT station. You must pass thru Park Mall via their parking building to get to hotel. Staff was helpful & friendly. We booked a room with 2 beds but we got "upgraded"...

We stayed at YWCA Fort for four days. The room was not large but basic & bed was comfy. A bit smell but I told the staff and it’s well done. The buffet breakfast was ok. The staff spoke English not so well but very friendly. Nothing such a proble during our stay. Would recommend the hotel and stay again.

This is a very basic hotel with rather tired furnishings. It felt like a hostel disguised as a hotel. The bare floors did not help with atmosphere! Our room had a shower that did not drain well and water collected and rose up to our ankles during showering. The shower door that was hung incorrectly allowed water to splatter outside...
