Our first impression of this hotel was good as the staff were very welcoming. However it quickly went downhill. Firstly our room was directly opposite the lift so we heard every time it was used. Our room was so small, most of the available space was taken up by the bed. The end of the bed was roughly a foot...

The Naumi Liora is a stylish hotel in one the gentrified streets of Chinatown - the decor is contemporary Oriental Instagram, room are small, cozy and well appointed and though on weekend nights the area is very lively (and noisy) I enjoyed my stay here. Staff at reception is friendly and very helpful but the hotel offers limited services (no...

Located near Outram Park and Chinatown MRT stations. Single heritage room small but well-designed and clean. Couldn't open windows, but first room had no natural light at all because outer shutters also shut; however, request to be moved to room with natural light was handled promptly and pleasantly. Helpful front desk and efficient cleaning staff. More chairs in lobby would...

Hotel is in a good location, minutes walk from China town and the MTR station. We were giving a room with no window which was fine however there was a lack of lights in the room. If I stayed here again I would get a room with window. All staff where very nice and helpful

Thank you for the positive feedback. We are so pleased that you enjoyed our location that is a 5 to 10 minutes' walk to nearby Chinatown and the Outram MRT station. Although our lead-in Quaint Rooms are windowless, they are cosy and comfortable. The Heritage Rooms feature windows with natural light. The Porch Rooms have an outdoor terrace where you...

Booked one night stay in a room with window. Room is small, bathroom is so small. Tv channels are handful. Location is just alright. Many food places nearby. Nice heritage set up though. Friendly front desk staffs.

We appreciated your feedback, thank you. Being a boutique hotel that has been lovingly restored from a heritage shophouse building, the rooms are, understandably, compact and functional. The Porch Rooms have a lovely outdoor terrace where you may enjoy the tropical outdoor. We are pleased that you found your way to the many eateries in our vicinity. Our staff are...

What a great place! Situated in Keong Saik Rd on the edge of Chinatown, with plenty of restaurants of all kinds up and down the street and filing the streets around. The famous Maxwell Rd hawker centre is an easy walk for breakfast. The centre of Chinatown is less than five minutes walk away and the hotel is just around...

How thoughtful of you to share your experiences! We appreciated the time you have taken to share your wonderful feedback. It ticks off all the right boxes for a stay at Naumi Liora. Like you, most guests enjoy the accessibility of our hotel's location to Chinatown. The Outram station of the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) train network is about a...

We were pleased to find that this Hotel was within walking distance to the colourful Chinatown market stalls and other attractions nearby. The staff were very helpful and recommended the Hop on/off bus which stopped nearby and we used it over two days. We were also given a lovely candle as a present for our wedding anniversary which was lovely....

I enjoyed my stay here, because of good value and friendly staff. Room pleasantly quirky but really could do with decoration. Badly scuffed walls and floors, poor maintenance in both the rooms that I stayed in. Liked the balcony area, and it is a great location

We are so pleased that you enjoyed your recent stay at the Naumi Liora. Thank you for sharing your feedback. Being a heritage conservation hotel, our room design is understandably unique and quaint. The perceived scuffed walls and floors are part of the Peranakan shophouse theme that our interior designer has created. Maintenance of our rooms is carried out on...

We booked this hotel mainly because the location is perfect for foodies as Keong Saik Road has lots of great restaurants including the streets adjacent to it. Service: Check-in was slow. Staff didn't help us with our luggage. They just looked while we were rolling our luggage through the very steep and narrow thing they call ramp. They didn't even...

Thank you for your honest feedback. We are disappointed to learn that you did not enjoy the experience during your recent stay at Naumi Liora. Understandably, the hotel is a heritage shophouse building converted to a hotel with a unique Peranakan theme, in keeping with the history of the neighbourhood. This explains for the quaint design and layout of the...

Roughly as expected, modest sized room but location very handy and a close walk to CBD. Bathroom was small, and unfortunately the shower drain did not really accomadate the water volume, so a quick shower was necessary!

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
