PROS: Excellent customer service, they're fast + polite, highly responsive. I had an issue with internet and they promptly sent two IT technicians to troubleshoot . Rooms are clean and the cleaning crew are courteous and professional. TV screen is big, works well, and easy to control. TV is new. I liked that there's a small convenient store on the first floor of the hotel selling all types of handy gadgets tourists may need, including power adapters and simcards. Location of this hotel is excellent - close to big malls, eateries, Orchard Road, and most importantly close to MRT subway station. Easy ride to and/from the airport.
CONS: Onsite restaurant is too small and boring, plus there was little to no vegan options. Hot water in the room is stored and dispensed from a plastic receptacle - not best for drinking. Room might look bigger on sites such as Agoda.com but in reality they're smaller - still better than many other hotels. Room decor is definitely mid-tier and can use renovation. Lighting in bathroom is dull / poor. There are no power outlets in the bathroom to plug in shaving device, etc. Bath tub is tiny and half the size of what you'll find in western countries. Bathtub slide-resistant floor nobs are hard on the feet - would have been better if they were made of rubber or silicon. The Bathtub is elevated and few inches above bathroom floor - so stepping in and out of it is a big safety hazard, especially for seniors and kids. Bathroom amenities are lack luster. Take your own soap - their soaps are tiny. Shower curtains are inadequate size and so water seeps out and on to the floor. Shower pressure is weak! There's no room service. Room does not contain laundry pricing list, luckily though there was a laundromat nearby the hotel where I got my laundry done. Office chair in the room is worn out and needs replacement. Arm chair is comfortable, and where I did my meditations.. but it needs a cushion to lean back on.
The exciting thing for the hotel is that there are small low-cost things they can do to improve guest experiences, mostly in their rooms, hence why I've shared the above. Overall the hotel is a good choice, and I would recommend it to travelers!

We arrived 8 am but could not check in directly. Fortunatelly the reception told us that our rooms would be avaible at 11 am so we could leave all our luggae in the lobby. We walked in the meantime to Orchard Road. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. We booked rooms with breakfast. The reception did not tell us that the breakfast is in another hotel next to ours. This breakfast until 10 am was poor and very basic. After 9.30 they did not fill up food and drinks. 5 minutes before 10 am they started to put away food and drinks. 3 minutes for 10.am each day the lights were put out even there were more than 30 guest eating their breakfast. This was very terrible, because we travelled more than 50 countries all over the world in more than 100 hotel restaurants and never had this experience before.

Pros: The Hotel is in a very good location. Concierge guys are the saving Grace of this hotel.
Cons: Issues about Airconditioning July 4,2022 Arrived Hotel at 10:30pm Room716 my kids woke up sweating around midnight A/C not working. Reported to Front desk. Was told maintenance duty is at 9am. They don’t seem to be concerned about guests suffering from the intense heat. Before leaving for sightseeing I specifically told the Front desk if they cannot fix the A/C they should prepare a room transfer for us. Arrived hotel exhausted found out they failed to fix the problem, room was messy. No message or information. So I have to go down again. I had to insist for them to change our rooms, turns out we are not the only ones with the same complaint. I met a couple booked 4 rooms on the 7th floor their AC also not working. Staff attitude is also terrible, no apologies, no explanations, basically they don’t know about the complaints or pretend not to know. Poor customer service, manager not visible needs to be asked to assist. When she did helped out she also has an attitude. Did not even apologize for the time wasted fixing a problem that is a basic need of any traveller.
Our friends on the 4th floor lost a brand new Shoes, the housekeeping claims it was garbage. Shoes was still inside the box inside a shopping bag. Go figure

Nice city hotel! The hotel is almost in the city centre, near the metro, easy to call a taxi or leave by public transport. There's a street near the hotel where there are a lot of shops and shopping malls. The hotel room is medium, good for an overnight stay. The room has slippers, bathrobes, hairdryer and water boiler. Breakfast at the hotel is average, you can't go hungry. The staff are sympathetic and friendly, if you don't speak English well, you can call a taxi anywhere in the city to the reception, taxis come quickly. We were in early January, the weather cheered, all days it was sunny, no rain.

Booked and paid a month ahead for a family trip, these happened:
1. Upon check-in, they insisted on charging SGD 60++/night for an extra bed for our 5 yr 8 mth old daughter by claiming that they have rules that 6 year olds and above must use extra beds, and insisted that our daughter was classified as "6 years old".
2. Fought off the extra bed ripoff, only to have our double-bed room taken away and given a twin-bed. Even though our reservation was for a double bed and all paid for a month ahead. Got to the room and sure enough the welcome message on the tv screen had someone else's name.
3. Was told breakfast for our 5 yr 8 mth old child was not complimentary, even though our room included breakfast for 2 adults.
4. Room was not cleaned at all throughout our 4 day 3 night stay. Front desk gave loads of excuses about alternarting days of housekeeping when we complained on the second day, yet room remained uncleaned for the following days. Spoke to duty manager on third night and was just given a lip service with nonchalant attitude.
In summary, this hotel has a niche in the form of their location in the vicinity of Orchard Road with cheap price and cheap service, which seems to be their modus operandi and ethos of doing business.

This hotel does exactly what it sets out to do, provide good no frills tourist level accommodation in a great location. The rooms are not large but there is enough space for two people, a bag rack and one bag under the window. The room we stayed in had recently been refurbished, new bathroom, flooring, very comfortable twin beds (pushed together for couples), high tech bedside light controls and also a hot water system for tea and coffee. The roof top pool is nice with great views but bring your own towel. Orchard road is right around the corner, a taxi rank across the road and one block to the metro. There is an outdoor mini food court (with umbrellas over the tables) across the road with chicken, duck, soup, drinks, western and seafood hawker stalls. If you want the fancy lobby and big rooms on Orchard Road go for it, but be prepared to pay more than double the price of this hotel.

It was decently average experience. We arrived at midnight and handled by “cool” female receptionist. Small room with “no response” remote TV, and need to informed them twice until they sent me another “healthy” remote TV. I think the old Indian man (concierge) need more friendly to guest, or even smiling to the guests. Located very strategic, only a few meters from Orchard road, many girls at night around the hotel.

We was told to check in at 3 pm on the date we have booked for our staycation.. Reached the hotel at 310 pm and was given keys to proceed to our rooms.
Feedback on Aircon We Switch On the Aircon but after 30 mins, the rooms were still hot and the room was not cold. Called up the reception and was told to wait for the technician to come over, waited 30 mins no one came to knock at the door. Called again and the reception told me that she has requested the technician to check both the rooms that were released to us. I was shocked how come the reception told me this cos if i dont remember wrongly, i reported on the room that im in and not the other room that was issued to us as well. Waited again but till abt 5 plus no one came to check the aircon, so i went down personally to see the reception and ask whats the update on my reporting. Again i was told to wait so i went up to the room again and about 10 mins later, the door was knocked by someone. The technician came and checked the aircon. He then told me to wait for 10 to 20 mins for the aircon to be felt as he has done something. An hotel staff came to see me in front of my door and asked me how was it and i told him what was conveyed to us. He asked me "Are you okay to change room Ma'am"? I replied why not, we are willing to do so as long as the aircon of the rooms dont have any problem like this. We are brought to another level of the hotel and issued the keys for 2 new rooms. This time round the aircon was okay.
Bathroom The bathroom was not to the same that was shown on the picture in Trip.Com. The pictures are misleading us. My kids were unhappy as the Bathtub cant be used as they have bought the Baby Bubbles Soap to be used in the Bathtub. Another issue that made them unhappy was the hair dryer, it was spoilt, can't be used at all. Mum was commenting how come there is no Water Hose attached to the toilet bowl as the sprinkle hose at the bathtub was so far.
We dont expect all these incident and the experiences that we have in the hotel will make our first staycation with family not to be a Fruitful and Memorable.
Hope other families will not experience the same experiences that we have face.

Nice and friendly staff, given a room with a massive window up on the 9th floor so had a good view Orchard Road. Room was clean and well kept and a good size for the price. One minor issue is the bath/shower is small and I think elderly people may find this difficult to get in and out of.
The only reason I have not given the hotel 5 stars is due to poor staff communication before my stay. I travelled into Singapore using a VTL flight which landed in the morning - using the VTL you must isolate for the first part of your stay so I had booked the hotel for the night before so I could immediately isolate on arrival. I had tried to contact the hotel beforehand (~1 month beforehand) to let them know I would be arriving in the morning and I had tried to explain that I had booked the room for the night before so I could go straight into the room for my isolation until I received my negative PCR result. They did not respond to my messages and in the end my partner had to call them and they said they had a made a note of my situation. However, when I landed in Singapore I found out they have cancelled my booking and charged my card. However, even though this was a little bit stressful it was all sorted out when I reached the hotel, they let me into the room and I paid the amount I was originally meant to pay.

Very run down hotel with extremely poor customer service. Check in counter personnel need to learn how to smile and be a little bit friendly. Absolutely appalling customer service from the moment we approached the counter. Judging from all the other reviews on Google. I was not the only one who thinks the service from her was rude, obnoxious and arrogant. All they care about is making every cent out of the guests.
The rooms are extremely mouldy and run down. Bathroom was absolutely disgusting with hair in the bathtub, soap scums on the shower screens. Minibar fridge was not cleaned, still with brown stains on the bottom shelf. The shelves were dusty and hair were found on the bed/under the pillows. The list goes on.
This would have to THE most horrible hotel experience in my 10 years of constant work travel. It is not even worth a 1 star rating. ESPECIALLY not worth the amount we paid for the hotel. We would never recommend this to any of our family and friends.
Please train your front counter team how to "Meet and Greet" all guests. If they do not want to be there, they need to find a new career. The only positive aspect of this hotel is the service from the security/ concierge, who was so helpful and friendly. He was an old man, but he was always so positive and approachable.

Hi Penny
Thanks for asking. Yes we have a mini fridge. We do not have a kettle or jug to make coffee, however we have a water dispenser to dispense distilled hot water or lukewarm water, coffee and tea sachets are below the dispenser machine

Hi Toby,
I think they do provide extra bed but best is to check with bookingcom or agodacom, they will be able to give a more accurate answer.
I think I pay S$ 160-180 for the room, again you can easily check it in those websites.
Have fun !
Harry
