Whilst I've visited and dined at the Raffles many times, I finally had the opportunity to stay there for two nights. It didn't dissapoint. The rooms are decorated in the old style with lots of dark wood and brass taps in the bathroom.. Everyday fresh fruit is delivered. The butler is there at a push of a button. It was...

Definitely a must do when you visit Singapore. Taxi dropped us off at the front door and it was very clearly signposted to the Billiards Room where they're serving the famous Singapore Sling whilst renovations are being carried out. There is a queueing system in place but we were shown to our table very quickly and almost immediately a waiter...

Dear K4rsty, Thank you for sharing your experience and writing this wonderful review. I am delighted to hear that you enjoyed your time here with us, especially so at the temporary home of our Singapore Sling, Bar & Billiard Room. It is wonderful that you enjoyed the 100 year old practice of throwing peanut shells on the floor, a practice...

Booked Afternoon Tea here. You can just wander along for a Singapore Sling at any time and dress code not tough. However for afternoon tea the gentleman require long trousers and closed shoes and ladies no flip flops(things/jandals) and no shorts. Staff were beautiful. So kind. Tea was immense loads of sandwiches then a buffet serving Asian delicacies as well...

I told a staff at the front desk that I would like to try their scones, and so I ordered a scone to our room. And few minutes later, they sent TWO COMPLIMENTARY scones with fine quality strawberry sauce and cream to my room. That is their service. I would also like to appreciate our butlers, John and Yujun, they...

I can't give 5* because we only had a drink and snack in the Billiard Room and Bar, ( the Long Bar was being refurbished). Nevertheless, I was please toy surprised how unstuffy the place was. Yes it is expensive, ( although the Singapore Sling was very good), but how many times will I get the opportunity again. When in...

In a city full of high rise modern hotels, low rise and central Raffles holds her own as the grande dame of stylish hospitality. This doesn't come cheap, but the visitor is well rewarded by punctilious standards of housekeeping and gracious, personal service. Competing with hotels vying with each other for the largest, jungle-festooned atrium, the most blingtastic suites, or...

I usually go for boutique hotels, but I couldn't pass up a chance for a stay at the Raffles. This property is so classic and elegant, and really makes you feel like you are living back in the British colonial times. Everything has been so well looked after, and you will see especially in the rooms. They only allow hotel...

7th April 2017...... tick off the bucket list. Afternoon tea at Raffles Hotel lived up to all expectations!! Even though the hotel is undergoing major refurbishment this didn't affect the service, quality or surroundings where we were. (Externally it wasn't quite the same though). It's a definite activity to partake in if you are visiting Singapore. Can also recommend the...

We stayed in one of the courtyard suites, classic elegant room but sadly we had dodgy wiring in the front small lounge and in the evening it was quite disturbing as the light kept flicking on and off all night long (also a little creepy) we spoke to a lady at the front desk about it the following day and...

Had wanted to visit for years and finally managed it aged 46! We had dinner here and it did not disappoint. From the moment you pull up outside to the second you pull away, it just feels special. The staff are polite and friendly without being stuffy, imposing or insincere. They're happy to chat if you want to and equally...
