This was to celebrate my partner's 40th birthday. We were not disappointed. Our suite was gorgoues and the service excellent.Nothing was too much trouble (well you are paying for it). As a surprise I hd organised collection and drop off at the airport. She cried when we left. Need I say more. The afternoon tea is wonderful and is a...

Must do is go to the "Long Bar", eat peanuts & throw the shells onto the floor. But be prepared to pay $32 for a Singapore Sling. Great bar atmosphere although it's a shame that there are so many empty rooms in the building.

Hotel has huge character and charm. It's expensive and meals are expensive but if your not on a budget then great spot to stay and great location lots restaurant close by. The only issue I had was with the Singapore sling in the bar total tourist attraction and not worth it. Others wise 5 stars

Fabulous colonial icon. Stunning suite perfect location. High tea a must have. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Swimming pool a welcome retreat after a day sightseeing, loved laying on the 3rd floor looking at all the surrounding high rises. Understand a refurb is imminent but nothing visible to the humble residents.

It was another must visit if only for the famously named cocktail even though my wife and I are not cocktail drinkers we enjoyed our time here watching people and the world go by drinking our Singapore Slings.

Last time I had visited was in 1969, I could hardly remember it. The Long Bar which is on the 1st Floor, was full at 1:30pm, but we were ushered to a table by a waiter, crunching our way over the floor, covered in peanut shells where the tradition is to throw them on the floor after shelling them. There...

Visited for a drink with friends in the Long Bar. Had Singapore Slings MMMM Monkey nuts (Shell on peanuts) on the tables, eat them and throw the shells on to the floor. The air conditioning was fans, on a pulley system on the ceiling. Visited the gift shop and other attractions.

Having completed a lovely 7 day cruise we arrived at Raffles with much excitement. We arrived early but were happy to sit in the lobby and wait for our room. Having been waiting for over an hour we did not at anytime asked if we wanted a drink. I approached reception to ask about our room and apparently it was...

Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in January. The hotel location is great it's like a small green oasis in the middle of vibrant high tech city. From the very beginning you feel great customer service and everybody showing that the customer is the king. Check in is very efficient, although to my opinion to block 300 Singapore dollars...
