Back to this hotel after 4 years. 1st one was good and this 2nd staycation was even better. Booked a Deluxe Room via Agoda and to our surprise, we got a complimentary upgrade to Club Room given by Service Staff Ms Logeswary. Thank you!
Checked was quick and smooth! My son loves the swimming pool. The room was clean and comfortable and came with complimentary mini bars! Will definitely return for a 3rd stay!

The rooms need a bit of freshening but everything else is great. The hotel is very quiet and the blackout curtains work well, and the beds are very comfortable and the bedding seems very new. The pool is very shallow which is good if you have small children, but for adults it's more just to cool off in. The breakfast is so-so: the pastries are delicious but the hot food is more mixed. That said, they do give you good tea and coffee both in the room and at breakfast. The staff were really excellent and helpful, especially Ms. Viloshini who saw it was my birthday and sent a cake to my room! Really above and beyond service. The location is great, 4 MRT lines in easy walking distance so you can get anywhere you need to go in Singapore reasonably quickly. Lots of restaurants in the area.

Check-in was a breeze. My husband was driving a Toyota Hiace 13-seater, so he couldn’t park in the hotel car park as the vehicle exceeded the 2.1m height limit. The concierge, a kind Malay gentleman, was very understanding and allowed us to park in the VIP lot, which was a relief since we weren’t sure where else to park.
When I checked in, I mentioned it was my husband's birthday and requested a late checkout. Unfortunately, the receptionist informed me that the hotel was fully booked and couldn’t accommodate the request, but we were fine with that—having a place to park in the city was our main concern.
Later, to our surprise, a thoughtful Chinese staff member knocked on our door with a mousse birthday cake and card. My husband was truly touched, and we celebrated together in the room. We absolutely loved the room, the service, the decor, and the festive atmosphere—it really added to our holiday experience.
Shopping was super convenient with a walkway connecting the hotel to Plaza Sing and Bugis Junction. Unfortunately, it was raining, so my kids missed out on the pool. We did, however, spot a spa offer and decided to try Healing Touch for a $50 pre-GST massage. It was the perfect way to end my husband’s birthday celebration before heading back to work the next day. The massage was fantastic, and overall, we had a wonderful, albeit tiring, experience.
We’ll definitely be back. Big thanks to the hotel team for making our stay so memorable

This hotel is a very dated hotel , from old interior furnishing to low capacity electrical systems to dark decorations, dim wall colors, peeling wall papers, mold spots on the walls, and more. I got a bad respiratory congestion after stayed here for 4 night. And some of my other colleagues even developed a rash on their skin. Which resulted in many of us checked in to other nearby hotels and didn’t stay here the entire time, even though the rooms were already prepaid for.
The entire room lighting is very dim, hard to get much work done IF you are here on business trip. The lighting control is very inconvenient . Old lighting control. They don’t have convenient power plugs that you can use by the bed side, like USB . Rather they have a mix of Asia and Europe power outlets, all requiring converters and not all in working condition.
For light switches, they have an old master switch board by the bed, but…you still have to get off your bed to turn the bathroom lights on and off . Which means , If you need to turn on all the light in the middle of night for bathroom, and you’re not able to just roll over and turn on that.
The hot water here is very hot . You do not need to turn the faucet to the middle point to get a water to be very hot. It is good in a way., however, if you travel with children, I will be very cautious when the children are using the sink to wash hands.
Breakfast was so-so, nothing special, just the basic continental breakfast, mixed with 1 small bowl of curry and a pot of baked tomatoes. And be aware of the coffee machine if you need a cappuccino or latte with the milk comes out a splatter big time so stand back.
Gym is ok, pool is small.
Location of this hotel is the main valuable point. This hotel is centrally located with food halls nearby, restaurants, parks, museum, malls, and riverside attractions all within walking distance.
However, I rather stay somewhere a bit farther than sacrificing my health, so…do not recommend.

Outdated decor and the bathroom is too dark. Also, not a good value for money. I was staying as a conference guest and the price was actually more expensive than booking privately. The added service such as free laundry and lounge access are not worth the inflated price.

We were transferred to this hotel due to apparent building work at the Orchid Rendezvous Hotel.
This hotel is dated the carpet on level 10 is threadbare and needs replacing. We were in room 1019 which is at the end of the corridor stains galore on the main corridor and they seem to have a good supply of shake n vac to mask the smell
The room was clean although dated. Bed was comfortable.
Breakfast is poor quality. Bacon a cold pile of crispy bacon, hash browns cold, sausage luke warm. Fried eggs literally piled up on a plate 6 high again Luke warm. Bakery items brought in from mass supplier. Restaurant feels like a dining hall tables very close to each other and a lack of staff means that many of them are not set or need cleaning.
Location very central, it is next to bencoolen underground station. Walking distance to Raffles Long Bar for a Singapore Sling, China Town, Bugis Market
Was probably an excellent hotel in its time now desperately in need of a refurbishment / face lift save your hard earned cash on gge bre as kfast

I stayed for 4 nights in Dec 2024. Stayed in the lowest room category.
Pros: -big room. -tissue box provided. -plenty of amenities in the bathroom provided. -daily housekeeping and the housekeeping are diligent. -bathroom is big. the shower space is large. -bathroom sink bench has a lot of space to put your stuff out. -mini-fridge -big chair in the room -hot water jacuzzi and cold water swimming pool -complimentary parking -wifi is decent. mobile speed tested at 39.9 mbps (download) and 41.6 mbps (upload). -hairdryer provided. -location is good. close to bencoolen mrt station and dhoby ghaut mrt station. Also not too far from Bugis and Funan mall and walking distance to fort canning park.
Cons: -the room is dimly lit, there's no bright well lit light in the bedroom. It's just two lamps and one desk lamp and another lamp near the chair. Same with the bathroom but it's a little better because there's a LED light above the shower space. -Bed is okay but it's more a medium firmness around a 7/10 firmness level. I prefer it a bit firmer like a medium-firm 8-8.5/10. -pillows are a little high, both types of pillows they provide. One is hard and one is slightly softer but it's still too high. -the superior room which i don't think has been renovated is quite old and dated. the carpet needs replacement or just get rid of the carpet to be honest and the whole room needs a bit of a spruke up. -they took the pool towels 10-15 minutes before the closing time of the pool which was 10pm. So if you want a quick dip before pool closing time, too bad no towels for you, you have to go into either the gym which have mini-towels which are not really suitable to dry your whole body or you go into the elevator dripping water. -parking is very narrow. -one of the members of staff at the reception when asked about whether we can keep the car parked at the parking lot until we come back later in the afternoon to pick up the car gave us the wrong information. She said we needed to leave by 12pm so if you have a late night flight or want to explore the city and then pick up your luggage later, too bad basically. She also had a bit of a rude tone to her voice and didn't nicely explain things which was not good to experience. However we just decided to go direct to the concierge and we were given our free ticket to leave. So one of the staff members here got it wrong and it left a sour taste in the mouth so to say. -no electrical charging point for EV cars in the car park. -they don't provide bottled water, just a glass jar. -the customer service is a bit cold. If they can get their staff to be a bit more warm and friendly and empathetic and talking nicely and in an informative way that would go a long way at this hotel.

I am a PWD person on a motorised wheelchair and I am pleased with the room that had been assigned to me...the room #329 assigned is wide enough for me to parked my wheelchair without obstructing the way to the toilet. The toilet is very well equipped with grap bars and also a flip down chair which is well thought for person with disabilities. The swimming pool is also very friendly towards disabilities people as it come with steps entering to the pool. The only downside is the main pool water is too cold whereas the jacuzzi pool water is just right for the temperature. The club room is quite spacious for me to enter with my wheelchair.I would like to thank the staff Elijah for going the extra mile in making my stay a comfortable one and try to accommodate to my request for late checkout. I would definitely recommend ppl to this hotel and I'll definitely be back.

No problems during my stay. However both Malon and Vilo were extremely accommodating and helpful during check out to support my bags in storage and access to the showers in the pool area to freshen up as I was out during the daytime at a business conference and not getting a flight back to the UK until late. Having helpful staff and these great facilities for international guests really do add value to the stay 😁.
