This hotel is very conveniently located however, so many issues its hard to know where to start. First if you wish to pay by credit card they will charge an extra 3%. As much as the say that the WiFi works it is sporadic and slow. Best place to get a signal is in reception. A superior room is approximately...

We were in this hotel in April 2016. At that time some food festival was going on at Singapore and finding no other hotel, we had to book this on internet. It was a terrible experience of our life. Extremely unprofessional front desk, no elevator, extremely small stinky rooms with rotten carpet, stagnant water at the bathroom, poor WiFi and...

Avoid this place!! Wouldn't even recommend it for a budget backpacker!! We got there, paid for 4 nights and left immediately. The room was dirty and cockroaches crawling around the walls. Wouldn't let my dog sleep here. Bathroom is tiny. Absolutely disgusting place. We wernt allowed a refund despite leaving literally 5 mins of seeing the room. We moved next...

Good location near bus station and cheaper than around but is actually terrible. Never could be classified as as 'hotel'! Very small room with an incredibly small toilet and shower. Shower does not drain good, water stays on the floor. Water heater has wires exposed to the water so we were afraid to turn it on. Holes on the floor...

Pros: 1.Location is 1all right, close to little India, and other shopping areas. 2.If travelling solo and looking for cheap place to stay in otherwise expensive hotels in Singapore. 3.Staff at the reception was polite and had a smooth check in. This is more of a place for back packers and should not be classed as a hotel. On most websites they have lead you to believe that is it the 'Meriton' also has a sign out the front say that... it was clearly not. We booked the 'deluxe suit' (Which it was clearly not) the room was a little bit...

Except the location of this hotel (little india) everything is disgusting about it. Rooms are like store rooms, size 7x8 feets that includes bathroom as well, where no person can fit. Bathroom is so small you cant even stand inside straight and close the door. Bathroom floor was unable to drain the water. ACs remote is not available in the...

When I saw the room and the toilet, I was almost shocked. The room was so small and the water stayed on the ground of the toilet. Compared to the price of the room, it was my worst room ever. Plus lots of cockroaches.. There was no sound proof at all and I couldn't sleep at all all night long...

Staying in Little India

Neighbourhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly coloured saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colourful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Centre, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colourful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
