Our 14-bed-dorm was like most other dorms. Some of the bunk beds were placed very (too) near to each other, ours was squeaking and the aircondition was way too cold. Mattresses were alright though and every bed had a little basket to place things inside and its own reading light which was quite cool. Breakfast: toast, peanut butter, strawberry jam,... More

I stayed in Rucksack Inn only for 1 night but it is a great place to stay for travellers on a budget. The dorm room and common areas were clean, I could have a big locker for my stuff and there's free coffee/tea and toast all day. :) The staff was friendly and helpful and allowed me to leave my... Stayed in a dorm with capsule beds. Capsules make the dorm experience much more pleasant than normal bunk beds. The place was clean, the night was very calm. Just outside Little India, a good location.

The place is very accessible with the bus stops directly across the street that brings you to most of the main places in town. Boon Kheng MRT station isn't too far away too and you can get to Vivocity(Harbourfront) in just 20 minutes. The staff are helpful and very accommodating. The free flow peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are the... More

Recently discovered this place and being in the intersection, it is accessible to transportation. The staff are friendly, especially the receptionist who welcomed us. She gave a detailed tour of the place. The place is clean and organized and the beds are comfortable. Biggest setback is the limited number of toilet and baths of this place. It's not fun to... Since we are Indonesian and we don't walk a lot in our country, so visiting Singapore is very tiring. And it was more tiring because this hostel located far from MRT Station, that was the minus for me. But for tourists from countries who has walking as their culture, maybe this hostel is not very far for you. But there... More

I wanted to give a try staying with strangers that's why i booked in Rucksack Inn when i visited Singapore for leisure. Rent is affordable, close to transportation (bus, train and taxi), the receptionist is very friendly, food is always available in the kitchen (for free - bread and spread), free water. The bad thing is when I arrived the... More

The Green Kiwi is in an excellent location, with shops, services and public transport nearby, and places like Little India and Bugis Street only a short bus ride away. It is very hard to locate, though - I spent ten minutes at the intersection outside trying to work out where it was, as there is no sign on the building... More

Incredibly kind and helpful staff, clean dorms, airport pick up for $9/pax, relatively close to Lavender station, breakfast included. I really enjoyed staying here! This is one of the nicest hostels I've stayed in throughout the 2.5 months I've traveled in SE Asia.

In May 2016 we booked and paid for standard double room in this hostel on some Russian site, let’s just call it «NNN», but this site sent to hotel a request that we booked 2 pod beds in 10-Bed Mixed Pod Room. As we found out a standard double room was already occupied, NNN could not make any changes in... More
