Located near Little Arabia and colonial district. Our room for three, which was decidedly small, lacked places to place suitcases, but there was a mini wardrobe. At least so as not to keep our suitcases on the floor, since we couldn't even walk around the room. The availability of bottles of water in the room, free of charge, given the great heat, was appreciated. No possibility to open the windows, I think for security reasons. Expensive breakfast, around 30 dollars, so we took advantage of the market in front to have a really good typical Kopi breakfast for little money. Among other things, this market offers a great variety of stalls so we even had dinner there a few times. However, around the corner there is both a 7eleven where you can buy biscuits, water, various snacks, and a laundry. There are also ATMs at the market. The swimming pool gave us good relief, especially for the children, after days spent walking under the sun and in crazy humidity. Hotel however in the standard of Singapore which is a decidedly expensive city, this one at least has a swimming pool and above all this market in front, excellent for staying within the budget, given that for us Singapore was only the beginning of the trip and constituted only 1/4 of it ! The room for 4 that I could see was even worse than our room for three, in fact the two single beds were attached not only to each other but also to the double bed! After all, there's no need to be shocked if Capsule Hotels are so fashionable.

OK hotel but nothing more. The value for money is very good. The staff is neither pleasant nor unpleasant. The rooms are still very small, if you take a room with two beds there is a double bed and a single sofa bed. The bathroom and rooms are clean. Beautiful rooftop swimming pool open until 10:30 p.m. The big negative point: the breakfast. $35 for a breakfast, frankly not worth the price. Very little choice at the buffet, poor quality of sweet things and drinks not included. For $5 more you go to the 5 star hotel 200 meters away which has an incredible breakfast.
I would therefore recommend this hotel to those who don't care about the morning brunch because apart from that the whole thing is very good for the price.

Whilst it's a pleasant enough place to stay it's lacking the usual facilities you get in most 4star hotels these days. There's one restaurants in the hotel but it closes at 7:30pm as does the small adjoining bar area. There's no room service or option to have snacks or drinks by the pool, unless you want a soft drink from a vending machine. It feels like a stopover in an airport rather than a place to spend your holiday, there's no communal area where you can sit and read or just have a change from your compact room. We booked Superior room - didn't see anything other than this standard when doors left open- functional not a "spoil yourself" place at all! Staff nice and lots of options for the breakfast buffet but after 4 days we would have liked an a la carte option!

Very disappointed in this hotel. We booked a room for 3 people and we knew that the 3rd person would sleep on a pull out couch, that is not the issue. But what we didn’t know was that the room was that tiny that there was NO space whatsoever to put 3 suitcases! We couldn’t even put 2 suitcases out! So we are having to keep the suitcases closed and upright and anytime we need anything out of them, are having to put them on the beds to open. That’s how tiny the room is. Not very hygienic putting dirty suitcases on clean beds!
Worst thing was reception phoned us last night on the room phone at 9:45pm (!!!), waking all 3 of us up, to ask us why we had moved the pull out couch’s bolster cushion outside our room (we did this because it was a massive 2m long and took up valuable space inside the already crowded room). I told them why we left it outside and also told them that we had been sleeping when they called! 5min later at 9:50pm, as we were falling back asleep again, there was a knock on our door. I opened it to a male member of staff telling me off for leaving it outside and that we would have to pay for it if anything happened to it!! I told him the same thing as I told the reception staff…there’s no space in our room and also we were asleep!! The next morning I went down to reception to tell them what had happened and they apologised and told me that they aren’t supposed to call the room or knock on the door after 8pm. Clearly they don’t abide by these rules!
There’s one only one very small hook on the bathroom wall, inside the shower to hang 2 towels….no where else in the room or bathroom.
We have another 6 nights left at this hotel unfortunately and will not be returning, nor will we be recommending it to anyone we know.

Good location just 5 minutes from the Nicoll Highway metro station and therefore 2 stops from Marina Bay (30 minutes on foot). Within walking distance there is a food court, the Arab Quarter and Bugis in about 15 minutes. The path from the metro to the hotel is completely covered so that you can get there easily even in the rain. The hotel is relatively new and clean. The rooms are big enough and have a double bed and a couch, fridge (2 bottles of water daily), safe and a modern bathroom. The breakfast is recommended as it offers a large selection of Asian and European dishes. Booking in advance as a package is usually cheaper than booking on site. There is a pool on the roof with a beautiful view of Marina Bay with the Bay Sands Hotel and the Singapore Flyer. We were happy with the hotel.

Dirty. The positives are that the rooftop pool and restaurant look nice. Check-in and check-out were very fast. The major negative that would make me NEVER stay here again is how dirty the rooms are! When we entered our original room we saw food crumbs all over the floor. Looking at the floor closer, we also see stains everywhere. The walls were marked up as if a child had scribbled on them. There was hair in the shower. We immediately went to the hostess and reported the room. The hostess didn't apologize or seemed surprised but offered to move us to another room. We packed and moved a few doors down to the next room. As soon as we entered we saw the same problems, stained carpets, dirty walls, and long stringy hair on the walls of the shower. Also black mold or dirt in the creases of the shower. There's no way these rooms are professionally cleaned and it ruined our stay as it made us feel the bed was likely dirty too. After traveling for 20+hours we did not feel like seeking out a new hotel and since we were only there for 3 nights, we decided to clean the room the best we could since clearly this is a systemic problem at this hotel. The sheets were never changed in the 3 nights we stayed there, they just pulled the bed covers up to make the bed look done. I would never recommend this place unless they made a huge adjustment in their cleanliness. This is a 2 star hotel at best.

Stayed here for 7 days, fantastic, couldn't fault. Rooms cleaned on a daily basis. No noise could be heard from outside whilst in the room. Great location, bus stop just outside the hotel and the train station a 10 minute walk. The Golden Mile hawker market across the road. Great hawker market filled with locals. Great swimming pool area on the rooftop. I wouldn't bother booking breakfast or dinner in the hotel better options and a lot cheaper in the hawker market.
The only issue was that shampoo was not supplied and no welcome folder with information about the hotel and area.

Typically, if I have a late arrival to a hotel, I write ahead to confirm that my room will be held. Well, no one responded the first time or the second time. Finally after three tries, I received a confirmation, and without any apology for the delayed response. When I did arrive, another person tried to cut in front of me at the front desk to check in. After settling down into my room, I noticed that there was no hot water for the shower and no heat coming from the thermostat. I reported the thermostat twice but had a cold room each night for five nights. While it was warm and humid outdoors, the room was quite cold at night, making it a bit uncomfortable. As for the shower, I never had any hot water the entire stay. Most of the staff I met did not fit my standard of what I would call a four star hotel. Will probably not recommend this hotel.
