Exceptionately clean, well managed, great location. Staff is very friendly, well spoken (English). very informative with all the going -on's in and around the country of Singapore. Continental breakfast is provided for your stay. Free coffee, and water all day long. I stayed here for three nights on my stopover in Singapore. From the minute I got there the staff were so warm and friendly and they couldn't do enough for you. I went to the desk around three times a day asking questions, directions, where to eat. I checked in early, the place is really clean and the mattresses are...

As someone who doesn't hold back in her reviews, I have to say that I have no complaints about this pretty little hostel. Not only is it incredibly clean, offers fast free wi-fi and basic breakfast... the staff also really go the extra mile to help and offer you advice if you need it. One lovely lady whom I didn't...

I stayed here in October and as it was quite warm I loved how the place was air conditioned. Being from New Zealand I wasn't quite used to the Humidity. The rooms were good, the bathrooms did get a bit hot and stuffy which was annoying but nothing they can really help I guess without blasting the air con in...

This hostel is ideally located (next to Arab Street) to explore Singapore. The facilities are all clean and showers have a nice pressure. Especially the common area is quite nice to hang out. Breakfast is simple (coffee, teat, cereals, toast, jam, and peanut butter), but sufficient and staff is friendly.

Very clean, great wifi, FREE LAUNDRY (you need to supply or buy your own detergent), basic breakfast included and a nice and well-organized common area. Located close to restaurants around Arab St and about a 10 min walk to subway. Pretty quiet and not a party hostel (no bar, evening activities, etc).

I'm actually surprised that everyone seems to like that place so much. I do agree on the following positive aspects: -location (close to Little India, next to Arab Street, 7 min to Bugis MRT, fast pace walking 25 Minutes to Esplanade and a lot of bars and food around) - beds are very comfortable - decoration is nicely done On...

The hostel is really neat, clean and well maintained. First thing that strikes me about Five Stones hostel is the dash of color and liveliness that hits you the moment you enter. Situated very close to Clarke Quay, at the heart of Singapore

A walk down Haji Lane offers quirky shopping, while one block over, Arab Street is a treasure trove of brightly coloured fabrics, clothing, and Turkish rugs. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Singapore's best and friendliest hostel! With each of our rooms featuring interesting designs, Five Stones Hostel gives Singapore cultural elements a refreshing new lease of life. Quirky designs and decor characterize our spanking new boutique hostel. Boasting one of the best beds among Singapore hostels (8 inch orthopaedic spring mattresses, no less) and conveniently located within 10mins walking distance to the majority of Singapore's key tourist attractions, it's the latest addition to the plethora of high quality budget accommodation in Singapore which blurs the line between hostel and hotel. ... more   less
