Good value for money, spacious room, spacious shower which I loved with non slip tiles very safe, rain shower too, good quality towels, good amentities in the room, hair dryer, stand to hang clothes, round side table, desk mirror was large, lightings in room sufficient and easy to turn off and on.
Check in was efficient, lady at the front desk was polite, worked quickly but effectively to ensure to explain all details about covid regulations and checks and paperwork needed to be informed to us before handing us our room keys.
Large spacious quiet room on a high floir as requested, with nice view of greenery across the street. Excellent Service.
Closet with hangers and extra pillows.
Comfy pillows but unfortunately, the 1 king-size bed advertised was 2 mattresses put together with a king- sized matress protector to stimulate a king- sized bed, which it did not. Dissapointed as it was not as comfy and every movement of 1 person woke the other, we checked out earlier due to this as we did not get a restfull sleep.
We felt it was unfortunate that the roof top restaurant we had heard so much about was closed due to the new covid regulations which came into effect unfortunately the same day we had booked to check in.
We would have loved to experience the rooftop restaurant but alas it was not meant to be.
Maybe another time.

We sincerely apologise for the disappointment caused to you, and we truly hope you will return to stay with us and experience dining at this rooftop restaurant when the situation improves. The hotel is a boutique hotel, managed by Ascott group, not a lot of rooms around but the size of the rooms are very comfortable for 2. Not too squeezy and air-con is ok as Singapore weather can be very warm at times. Lots of food around, whether its local and cafe or restaurant, its very near to one of the popular Tiong Bahru Market a market which the locals like to visit. Its a chillax staycation for me.

The hotel was not too shabby for its price but I expected a little more as it was under The Ascott Limited. On offer from Klook, we paid $70/night for the room. Hotel is a little old and needs better upkeep. Bell man at the carpark was great, saw our car pulled in and came out to help us get the lift, managed to get an early check-in at 1.30pm. Room was huge and spacious, but we didn't quite enjoy the room flooring that was relatively rough. Toilet has some mould issues but I guess it wasn't that bad. TV was not good, there was so much static sound, and the picture quality was quite poor. One night only, so we didn't want to bother the staff either. Room walls were definitely thin. The gym is very very small and the equipments felt like they were falling apart, threadmill was ultra squicky, I didn't dare to use it. The confusing multi-purpose equipment had an instruction manual that was falling apart, and that equipment has not been maintained at all. No water or towels provided in the gym, and front office staff told us to off the air-condition by ourselves before leaving the gym. Overall, huge room and bed that is very comfy, could have used some better maintenance and staff service, and this hotel would be great!

The hotel is in an excellent location close to Tiong Bahru Market, bus stops and good eateries. The famous Tiong Bahru Bao is just next door.
My room is very spacious, clean, quiet and with a nice view. Even the toilet has a view. Everything in my room worked. Bed and pillows were very comfortable, bed linen and towels clean and fresh and shower consistently hot. The housekeeper was also polite and friendly.
The reception staff were friendly and polite. .Faiz, Martin and Bryan provided good service. Faiz even asked if I had an umbrella when I passed him one day on the way out as it was drizzling outside. He even remembered my surname.
The hotel surpassed my expectations and is excellent value for money.

DONT expect to get extra water or even Nescafe coffee powder. One room can only get 2 per day. DONT EVEN think of asking for more coffee mate or sugar.
If you are expecting visitors, please ask them to bring their own water and coffee powder. They might not even give u extra toilet roll if you need. So can let your friends or visitors bring their own toilet roll. If you are using the Singapore rediscovery voucher, don't even expect housekeeping if you happen to book both days. They will not entertain. They will only call you and tell you, not entitled.

Dear Tingweilim, Greetings. We deeply regret to learn your family and you have been very dissatisfied with your stay at our boutique hotel.. Kindly allow us to advise as it is always our sincere hope our guests enjoy their stays with us and our management takes feedback from our guests seriously, we carried out a thorough investigation upon receiving your review. Please allow us to share our investigation findings and our findings from our CCTV footage with you. We note your sister and you made 02 separate bookings for an overnight stay with us on 06th MARCH 2021 and that you extended your stay for the second night with your booking for one room made via an online travel agency. However, although the maximum occupancy of our rooms is 2 adults and this information can be found in our brand website and that of all online travel agencies who promote our boutique hotel; we found your sister, 3 other family members and you stayed in this 4th level Executive room during the extended 1-night stay. With regard to your feedback on our Housekeeping service, please be informed it is clearly stated on our brand website and the websites of online travel agencies there is no Housekeeping service on Sundays and Public Holidays. Hence, as your extended 1-day stay fell on 07th MARCH 2021 Sunday, we are sorry we were unable to provide you with cleaning service you requested although our team would provide you with clean towels for 02 persons for that day. Please be advised as the maximum occupancy of our rooms is 2 adults, our Housekeeping team would provide the needed amenities, linens and consumables for 02 persons per room. We seek your kind understanding over this matter. Thank you. While we constantly strive to maintain the highest standard of customer satisfaction, we deeply regret we have fallen short of your expectations. Thank you for staying with us. Kind regards, Cynthia Lim, Manager, Social Media and Partnerships

As a frequent business & leisure traveler, I have stayed in over 30 hotels in 2022 alone. This hotel (D'Hotel) was the worst hotel we have stayed in this year. It feels like a 2 star motel (US Standards). The room looks nothing like the photos online. It is smaller, smells of mold and overall uncomfortable. The rooms are not in good condition and worst part is the toilets barely flush, the sink and the shower do not drain properly. Wifi was very poor. If you are a tourist or a business traveler, then this location is not idea. It is 15 minutes walk to the closest Metro, which will take you over 40 minutes just to get anywhere worth going. Singapore is expensive but there are many nice hostels that offer cleaner and nicer amenities in a more central location for much less than this hotel.

Beautiful boutique hotel with great service and location. We had a lovely room with large windows and spectacular views—even from the bathroom. Very seek and modern. The breakfast buffet was served in a beautiful rooftop restaurant and offered a great variety—from fried rice, shrimp, and stuffed dumplings to bacon, sausage, pastries, croissants, fruits, cheeses, cereals, eggs and more. A variety of juices and coffee or cappuccino were also available.

The good points were that the room was a reasonable size, the staff were very good and helpful and it was quite quiet at night. Bed was comfortable. The decor was just about acceptable though a little tired. The negatives were the unexpected deposit of $200 against damage to be paid on arrival, class hotel this one. The location is quite remote and necessitates a walk and bus/metro journey to get anywhere of interest. We found the area run down, though some may describe it a characterful. Water from the room upstairs was running down the bathroom wall. Not the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.....

This hotel needs to get more reviews and stays to get out from the mediocre rating! :)

My second stay with you guys this year (because of covid too). This time round with their Executive Room which also comes with a tub, previously with Premiere Room that comes with a larger round tub.

I got to say, Executive Room is the perfect me-time room especially during these time when people are desperate for a getaway from their daily routine. The room which comes with similar size of premiere, comes with a deep soaking tub which was different than Premiere that comes with a round tub (perfect for couple). I had no complains this time too and everything was perfect. Kudos to Bryan for his superb hospitality.

I'd recommend people to come here, get our from their daily routine. Lots of yummy food nearby too! To name a few, Cafe Pandan (hotel breakfast from here too), Kampung Chicken place, Voyage Patisserie. Tiong Bahru food centre is also walking distance from here.

Keep up the good work D Hotel (or Wangz) - although the phone in the room was a little dusty. :)

First impressions are quite dull… they try to make an effort with a little table set up of local biscuits and a coffee machine… the hygiene standards are eye opening as they don’t offer disposable stirrers. I can understand being green… but 1 teaspoon placed in a holder for common use?

If it was a holder of clean spoons, each for one time use and then they washed it. That would be good effort to be green, but one to be shared. That’s an ick.

We got the balcony room, room is big and spacious but it needs a refresh. The wardrobe sliding door connect to the lights was a joke, I could hear the sensor trying to desperately hard to click.

Bath towels are also fraying… and the shower head is on one of those non 360 types. For the ladies who wish to take a quick shower without wetting our head… that would be pretty difficult.

Mattress is really soft, so lucky we were just doing a night staycay… can’t imagine if I was a visiting tourist… my back would be so achy from poor sleeping posture.

Parking is another joke! They have basement parking but all the lots have a cone on them. When I arrived, a security personal came out from the office situation beside the parking lots and instead of assisting to remove the cone after I asked him if it was ok to park. He gestured me to that I would have to remove the cone on my own.

So much for hotel service. This might as well be a dorm.

Overall… I’m pretty surprised this is under the Ascott group. As I’ve much enjoy my stays at other Ascott properties.
